I really liked this place. First, they blast heavy metal, which isnít my favorite but itís better than pop music. Second, they were watching Blood Sport on the TVs when we walked in. 3rd, they had a about 6 of their own beers and a big guest beer list. We had a few brewery only ones that were good. 4th, the food was awesome! Everything we had was awesome. EAT HERE!

A bit of a "biker bar" vibe located in the middle of an industrial park.. itís not normal. Great selection of 3F beers on tap, as well as a few guest drafts which are a) high quality and b) well-priced. Canít do any flight you want; only one pre-defined one. Service was fine, but not particularly friendly. Music was loud (a draw for some, I guess) and it was cold where we were sitting. The beer is, of course, some of the best. But as far as brewpubs go, this was not my favourite. Still, I will pop in unconditionally any time Iím driving to Chicago.

Drove here straight from the airport on a recent business trip to Chicago. I got there at 10:50 based on erroneous info I had that they opened at 11am. When the 6 people waiting outside didnít get in at 11...I asked why they came so early (silly me)...the answer was...better get on line quick or youíll have a 2 hr wait to get in. Sure enough the line was out the parking lot in 20 mins including a small bus! I am familiar with their beer but obviously canít get it back east. I usually drink what I can while in Chicago...but this was my first trip to the brewery. It did not disappoint! (it helped that I got in with the first group of patrons).I came for Dreadnaught & low & behold...wouldnít you know that was the only empty tap that day! Well I drank flights of everything...and fell in love with Zombie Dust. As I was getting ready to leave...the bartender told me they just bottled DreadnaughtÖwhoopee! So in my jubilation I bought a case not thinking I could only get 5 in my check bag and drink 3 more before I flew home. So some local craftbeer fans I later met at Hopleaf got 3 and the bartender there 1. Donít ever miss a chance to go here if you are not from the area.

OK, of course the beer is good. I have no problem with anything they brew.
However, the customer service really needs to be worked on. If you show up with a party of 7 people, keep in mind they will not split the bill. They only will accept 1 ATM card regardless of how many people sit at your table. I also have a few other minor complaints but I will not bore you with them. All I can really say is, I really enjoy brew pubs and restaurants that have high customer service. (you will not get that here)
The nice part of my visit is I got to meet a long time trade partner and a few of her family members. So, looking at it I had a good time because I was with good people. Queenholly it was a pleasure!
Anybody who hasnít been just be warned that the Hipsters have taken this place over.

50 people were in line on Saturday when they opened the doors. Grungy metal music, every employee had tattoos and piercings. Food was pretty damn good, sampler and pints were fairly priced. Odd internal layout but overall a nice time!

Day before DLD 2013. Beer selection was great. Menu provided was food stained and wet. Food was mediocre at best. Service was so so. For such a busy weekend there, I took the good with the bad. Was glad to be there.

Visited on a sunday afternoon. No wait to get in, got 2 seats right at the bar. Music seemed pretty quiet. Some Jaws movie, Jaws 18 maybe, was playing which then switched to Dead Snow...awesome. Beer was great, didnít try the food though. Service seemed just fine. Not sure what all the complaints are about it...they just donít put up with BS.

Service wasnít as bad as people say. Music was blaring - even for lunch on a Sunday when the place wasnít really full. Beer was amazing, though. So they could have put me in a tub full of crap and I still would have been glad to be there. Canít wait to go again.

Visited on Sunday afternoon 1:30 and there was a wait time to get in approximately 20 minutes. The place was packed but still the service was quite quick and the beer was so good. Great selection. The food was quite expensive and mediocre. A good selection of bottles to take home, Would visit any time again.

Only visit was during Dark Lord Day which is of course a bit of a gong show. However managed to get in after waiting for not too long in line, tried a couple great beers, had something to eat, and most impressively, considering what is probably their most insane day of the year, the service was reliable and friendly. Now just need to visit again for lunch, in the middle of the week.
