| Steve_0 (38), Denver, Colorado | | May 6, 2012 Checked out this place and the Westminster location the same weekend. Have to admit that it is a huge warehouse style liquor, but is very underwhelming. Doesn’t seem to have as large of a selection as the Westminster location and there was really no one around to help me. I would have rated this place a little lower, but I did find some 3F just sitting on the shelf, which made my day. OK, but ten other Denver locations I would go to first. | | spracklinc (10), Montana | | September 29, 2011 This place is pretty much my mecca. Stopped on a recent trip to Denver, as friend in the area has told me over and over that I needed to go. She was right! Coming from Montana, where the selection isn’t that great outside of macros and Montana brews, I was overwhelmed by the sheer number of beers, wines, and liquors. The only thing that could make it better would be if it was closer to me! Lets just say that I dropped a bit more money than I needed to, and that I’m already plotting another trip to Denver, partially to restock my beer supply! | | jc4031 (16), Colorado | | May 13, 2011 one of the better priced places to get the one of the best selections of beer around. They have some rarities if you come in at the right time. the staff is usually very helpful and talkative check it out when in thornton | | adnielsen (277), Fort Collins, Colorado | | February 21, 2011 Fairly large bomber/750 section but you can find all the same stuff at the Westminster location and the Westminster location seems to have some other stuff that this location doesn’t. Worth a stop if you need something and you’re on I-25 looking for a quick stop but otherwise, just go to the Westminster location. | | beerguy101 (69), Newark, California | | September 9, 2010 Big warehouse type store. A whole wall of coolers filled with beer, a lot of micro and foreign stuff. Really nice selection. There was a bunch of stuff I wish they had available as singles, but were only available as 6 packs. Lots of california Stuff as well. | | msante79 (253), Mount Prospect, Illinois | | July 25, 2009 [ Updated August 3, 2009 ] Very large warehouse type liquor store. Huge cooler section full of box sixers and bombers. They have 3 door cooler single section that fives 27% discount if you mix a six pack. Large selection of bombers and 750’s from Port/ Lost Abbey, Stone, Boulevard, Brewdog, Russian River,Great Divide, New Belgium Lips of Faith and a ton of other quality local breweries. I picked up a mixed sixer and an Arrogant Bastard Pint glass for $14. Not to bad. Would be a regular is I lived in the area. | beerwhore69 (3), Northglenn, Colorado does not count - explanation | | June 10, 2009 This is not only the best place on the north side of Denver, It’s the only place worth saying you stopped in and got a little tipsy. They do wine and beer tastings on friday and saturday, specials all the time, and a classic car show and wine and mead tasting on June 13 and 14th of 2009. Not maybe the best, but I dare you to find some place else with as much going on. | SelfInebriated (1), does not count - explanation | | June 10, 2009 First of all this ratman197 guy looks like he is just spamming his uneducated comments on this web site, making his opinion useless. You find a liquor store that is better. The people are awesome there. The Store manager rick will bend over backwards to get you anything and everything you can ask for... if its available in Colorado he’ll get it. Great selection, not everything but hey no one can carry every wine, beer and spirit you know lets be realistic!!! Great place! | | MeisterBrew (14), Cheyenne, Wyoming | | May 17, 2009 Nice and clean. Fairly large selection of beer. Some notables were missing, but I also found a few beers that I haven’t seen elsewhere. Pricing seemed inline with other Colorado stores. Service was fairly non-existent though. | | Jwjeep (10), Rifle, Colorado | | March 29, 2009 If you’re looking for somewhere with almost everything, go here. Good place, absolutely huge! Awesome selection, bigger cold storage than the entirety of most liquor stores. Great selection of macros, micros, locals, etc. They even have a whole aisle of aging/aged beers. They’ll also happily order you anything they don’t already have. I like to stop in when I’m in town and always find something new I haven’t tried yet. |
