Cosy place with an old timer attitude. Lots of belgian beers, a couple of modern IPA's. Relaxed, good service.

What a wonderful place! It's my new favourite bar. It's small and cosy with a very good selection of beers on cask and keg and a super-friendly owner. Not to be missed.

A very cosy and friendly place with several of their own beers and a well selected number of prime micros. A excellent choise of bottles. Expensive beer. Their own beers not som good egen visited.

Visited on a Saturday evening. Super cozy basement bar with rugs on the walls and a creaky door. 15 taps 6 of which had their own beers on while the rest were American and Belgian. Also a bottle selection of mostly Belgian beers. Quiet atmosphere with guitar jazz on the radio and well behaved guests. The vegan burger was ok. Very friendly owner and overall this is my favourite of the places I visited in Gothenburg.

Dark, cozy down stairs place. Very relaxed atmosphere. Varied tap selection, local and European with some good old classics. Shelves display a good array of mostly Belgian solids but also a small handful of Närke-gems. Prices are typical Swedish, but there is some rare and exceptional stuff to find here.

Pretty much perfect on all fronts, but you may find the basement location a bit glum. I've had some fantastic beers here, and some of the stuff they brew in the small brewery behind the bar is truly brilliant - but the owner-come-brewer tends to play around and experiment a bit, so I assume there will be some less succesful brews from time to time. Awesome bottle selection as well, with some rather exclusive vintage bottles on display.

I am local to Göteborg, as well as a regular to this place, updating the rating once again.
Have rated the place high even from the start, but over the years tweaked it a bit higher every now and then. Finally upping to full score for all since I do enjoy this place a lot and tend to go here rather often when I feel for a beer.

Age limit is 20 years, ID might be required if asked for. Last call 45 min before closing.
Patio outside in summer season only. Kids allowed but no strollers/baby carriages due to laws from the fire department.
19 taps installed where 18 are currently connected, the last one is for planned future use. Brewing on premise, so 3 to 5 of their own beers on tap is common. Usually max 150 bottles available, see the large cabinet to the right when you come down from the stairs. I've been going here for years even before they started brewing on the premises, and enjoy it plenty still.
Pretty much the best place in Göteborg I’d say, if you want local or micro/craft beer and not get the average drinking crowd. Mellow, often fairly quiet place. I visit frequently and might be biased by the friendship I have with the owner, but I still recommend this place to everyone and anyone who’s looking for some good/great/unusual beers and super good service.
Centrally located, easy to get to by going to tram/bus stop "Valand" and then a short walk, other stop "Vasaplatsen" also very close. Parking on the street.
Basement location, so phone/wireless internet connection not great, but with the beer selection and rating on paper, who needs reception? WiFi available with pw from bar.
Not that cheap any more, but then again I’m willing to pay for quality.
Cash and cards both accepted, though card is much preferred. Mainly soft jazz music from the speakers at a low volume. Not a party place or a rowdy place, but a great place for a few drinks in a relaxed atmosphere. Age of most visitors a bit higher than the younger crowd.
I’ve been going pretty often since 2007 or 2008 or so, don’t remember, I’m often there and have only good things to say about the owner, the staff and the place itself. Don’t expect much lagers though, tends to be one or two on tap. Recently got a craft cider selection of bottles available. Also wine selection is not what you should go for, though there is red and white available. No hard spirits available at all, nor a wide selection of soda/pop/soft drinks. But hey, did I mention there’s tons of awesome beers?

Lovely cool place with great ambience - laid back music, great decor in three basement rooms. Quiet and comfortable. Ten or so pumps with five of their own beers and good selection. Large collection of bottles. Friendly staff.

Must visit place. Kind of unique interior. Beer selection pretty limited. Fendly service and knowledgeable staff.
