64 Traditional looking brewery/ taproom and restaurant. Copper brew kettles are in the main room next to the bar. Fermenters and lager tanks are in two separate rooms behind the bar. We were given a short tour, which was very informative although our guide said he was not an expert. Three beers on tap when we were here: two light lagers and one dark one. I tried the Samec (11 Plato light lager) and the Tmave (dark lager) and both were pretty good. Ate here on two consecutive nights and the food was good both times. Prices reasonable. Service was a bit variable but OK. Worth a visit. |
78 4 Taps on my visit. Popular, historical pub near the hop museum. |
68 Standard Czech pub food with 3 of their own beers. Large room that is also the reception area for the various tours. They fill 1, 3, and 5 litre carry-outs. Walls feature the usual pictures of the Zamecky breweries over the years and various hop advertisements. Adjacent to the hop museum and hop tower. |
