Looks like a restored hardware store. Unbelievably high ceilings and lots of exposed brick. The walls are covered with local breweriana. They have 11 different things on tap. They lean heavily towards lagers. The food was fairly solid as were the beers. I can’t say I had anything that was particularly outstanding.,If I had one complaint it was the size of the sample glasses. 2.5 oz. seems a bit small to do a proper evaluation. It was a bit like drinking beer out of a test tube. The service was efficient but not particularly warm. (slow down, dude!) On the whole it was an interesting experience.

came here for a sampler. Neat old building with lots of old PA related beer stuff on the walls. Staff served my sampler and was not seen again until we shouted for him to pay our tab. The beers were all pretty bad and I got the impression the tap lines were dirty. Will probably never go back.

Just a mile or so down the road from all the antique warehouses in Adamstown. Attractive older building on Reamstowns main street. Owner must have grown up on Reading beer, because the memorabilia dominated the large, open interior. Above average service, quick, friendly and attentive. Decent menu that included an elk meatloaf sandwich that was very tasty. Good beers, including an IPA that was cask conditioned, Seem to remember about 8 altogether, including the dopplebock, lager and hefe (among others). The kind of place I would visit regularly if I lived a little closer.

Nice place, quite local to me. Been there thrice now, very good food, nice that they have samplers. Consistently very good service, even with a party of 10 on our last trip.

Nice set up in an unassuming building. Pretty cool building inside. Stopped in after hitting the Green Dragon with my wife and daughter (early Friday evening). Place was pretty much empty. Our waiter was attentive, but could not speak of the beers at all. Ordered the sampler - as most people have comments, the 2oz sample sizes are too small really. The beer were average - drinkable, but nothing to get excited about. I had the Elk meatloaf - it was pretty tasty. Wife did not like the french onion soup nor the shrimp cocktail.

Cool old building. Lots to look at. Service was great, because I was the only person in the place. Strong selection of about 10 of their own beers. Seemed on the cheap side. Too bad all the beer was bad. I am unlikely to return.

Went here with TheCaptain. Place was very clean and nearly empty when we got there. The waitress was friendly and attentive but didn’t really know anything about the beer. Had the sampler and the beers ranged from pretty good (Pale Ale) to pretty bad (Double Barrel). Prices were good and the food was very tasty. I would be willing to go there again.

After a long day of running around Adamstown, We decided to stop for a bite to eat. Inside there is a very nice dinning area and a cool bar !! Nice selection of beers on tap, The food was pretty good, and the service was excellent. Would like to stop back again some time.

This place is kind of out in the middle of nowhere. I sat at the bar. The service was very attentive, friendly and helpful. The selection was okay. They had six beers on tap: Kolsch, Hefeweizen, Pale Ale, Maibock, Doppelbock, Stout. Their beers are solid, but nothing to get excited about. All of their beers are very drinkable. My favorite was the Doppelbock. The Pale Ale is a very nice session beer. I agree with what some others have said, regarding the sampler size. Two ounces per sample is just too small. The food was decent. The smoked trout chowder was very tastey. For diner I had their chipotle scallop salad, which was okay. Overall, this is a decent place worth a stop.
