Small and unassuming from the outside (look for the hanging sign above the covered sidewalk). Very cool vibe I was in here 3 or 4 times while we were here, and everytime there was a different group of locals hanging out at a table at the front of the store playing cards, joking, laughing. I liked walking in here! Very solid beer selection, particularly of imports. Certainly on par with Sidney’s, but different selection altogether. They must have trouble turning some stock over because I got a number of bad bottles of Breckenridge stuff, and 3 of my 4 bottles of Flag porter were off too (expensive waste!), but my dozens of other purchases were all okay. Very helpful friendly staff. Discounts on 6-packs, even if they’re mixed! |

This is a great place to purchase beer when you’re in the French Quarter. The beer selection is not as good as it once was, but you can still find a really good selection and some hard to find beers can be found here. Glad to see it’s still around after all these years! |
