Small shop full of great beer (and wine FWIW), especially good selection of Belgian imports. Helpful staff, knowledgeable without being overbearing. Only criticism is the prices are on the steep side compared to some of the chain stores like Binny’s, but there is definitely a few gems that I saw only here while in Chicago.

From the outside, there isn’t much of an indication that there is going to be a decent range of craft beer in here but I was pleasantly surprised. Solid range with some nice extras. I can’t comment on value as I’m not from around here. Service was crap. Noone asked if I wanted any help and I couldn’t find anyone to ask questions to. As I was looking however, I did see that they keep their ’ultra rare’ stuff out the back for good customers only which pisses me off a little but whatever floats ya boat I guess. Solid range though and could be a good little local

This place is a joke! Someone told me to go here and that it was some great awesome place and so great ETC... Yada yada yada... But it sucked... Never going back, never a joke.. This place has a weak selection of beer and a funny septic tank smell. Very over priced and the beer is not catagorized correctly. Okay why such a bad experience? first, the beer I bought was not even what I wanted when I called they said they carried Green Flash brews when I got there they said that they did’nt, wow?! Second, the beer the guy working at the register reccomended was horrible, some Old Thumper. Well, not horrible but cmon Old Thumper... Third, the beer when I got home was skunked, it was expired! Fourth, the guy at the register when I came in said he could break a hundred dollar bill. I bought all together 3 six packs and 2 singles totaling for about 50 bucks. When I get to the register he said let me see if I actually have enough to break the 100 then says no when i SAW CLEARLY that he had the change . He says I can only break the bill if you buy another six pack.. I had my friend pay with his credit card and then for icing on the cake he wwas charged twice..., This place sucks.. Dont waste your time!

Utterly misnamed. Warehouse? The atmosphere is more like a high-end wine store in a recently-gentrified neighborhood. Overall, the selection is not as good as Binny’s, but they have a few things I’ve never seen at Binny’s - like Barrel-Aged Old Rasputin or Lost Abbey 10 Commandments. The staff seems knowledgable, if only because they seem jealous of my purchase every time I go there. It’s tough for me to judge value, since I’m recently relocated to Chicago from Milwaukee, where the prices are much better. But this place is worth going out of your way for, just to see what rarities they might have.

Ran into this place going to a function at Grant Park, this is near a well know jazz establishment Ledgends. The place was a hidden gem, I swear I expected a whole lot less, maybe at most a Fat Tire, Hieneken, Blue moon kinda place, but I was totally shocked. Lots of Bombers, Big Bottle named stuff such as FFF, Bells, Alllagash, Olfkabrikken, Abbeys de Rocs, Chimey, Bosteels, GI, Victory, Brooklyn, DFH, Southern Tier well you get the point. This place is neat and had 6-8 wall to wall coolers with Bombers and six packs. The price was average, I was expecting it to be pricier due to the location but not the case, I got a 750ml bottle of Abbeys de Rocs Grand Cru for $8.99, not bad. ohh and I was able to buy cups (plastic 12oz) for 10 cents, which came in handy! Not a Binny’s or a Sam’s but I still liked that this was within walking distance from Grant Park.

One of the best places to go in the south Loop. You ask for it and they get it. A must stop place. Something for everyone. A+
