a rare site in PA, to have a grocery store with beer. price is perhaps a bit high for most things, selection is fairly good.

Yes, a grocery store in the locked down, narrow minded Commonwealth of Pennsylvania that sells beer. Of course, this is only possible due to the fact that Wegmans purchased a liquor license for their Marketplace Cafe, located within the grocery store. Anyway, a nice variety of six packs and single bottles available for carry out. Some micro examples: Many varieties of Sam Adams, DFH, Victory, Weyerbacher, Troegs, Anchor, Stone, etc. V12 and Wild Devil in 750’s for $8.50! It’s like we live in AMERICA!!! Also a decent Belgian selection - Chimay, Corsendonk, DT, a few varieties of Lindeman’s, in both 375 and 750’s... just don’t expect anything rare. Imports include the usual suspects - Heineken, Becks, Spaten, Sam Smith, Guinness and Co. Prices are hit or miss; Lindeman’s ~$10 for a 750, but $12 for a 6 pack of DFH IBA or 60 min IPA?? I’m not complaining, just glad to see beer in the grocery store, where it belongs. Hopefully this starts a trend... it’s in a nice setting; there’s a fresh food bar nearby and a cafe where you can enjoy your brew, if you wish. Store workers are mildly helpful, but enthusiastic about their selection, at least. Worth a stop if you’re in the area and you wish to see how beer is purchased in the rest of the United States of America; a mini-vacation right here on the west shore!
