| DragonStout (73), Pataskala, Ohio | | September 27, 2009 This place reminded me of a smaller version of Whole Foods. They are a sweet gourmet store with a great selection of beers and wines. They have fresh meats and fish and a great cheese selection. It was nice to see the beer and liquor were seperated for easy navigation.A definate place to revisit. | | BeerVirgin72 (75), Pataskala, Ohio | | September 27, 2009 A very nice find just a hop away from Palmers...Very nice little market in the style of a "Trader Joe’s". Very nice beer/liquor section off the back. Found several beers I have not seen in other stores. Nice being able to buy singles. Shopping for other food is fun here as well. Nice gourmet foods. Wouldnt go out of my way to come here, as it is not that close, but if I were making a round of the Indianola/High street beer geek places I would definitely add it in! | | markwise (56), 15 Minutes from Kuhnhenn in, Florida | | July 26, 2009 Nice beer section, even though it is all the way in the back. Young girl behind the counter knew her beer, and knew what was good and could describe beers and flavors. Typical selection in Ohio plus a few hot movers. Nice mix 6 pack section and for $9 per mixed 6 there were some good choices. If only they had high profile beers (GI Matilda, Pere Jacques) in the mixed 6 section... Nice place to visit. | | fromred2green (15), , Ohio | | July 18, 2009 On the whole, the best mix-six store I’ve been to in Columbus. The beer itself is in the back corner of the store to the left. I was told this store carries over 500 beers. They will let you mix your own six-pack, and the mix-6 options are very good. Great for sampling new beer. They had beer I’d never seen before, which is a plus. Prices are standard for the area, and the employees are very helpful. They even have ratebeer ratings posted next to some of the brews to remind us where the truly great beers are.
Great beer store. I shall return. | endersworld (2), Columbus, Ohio does not count - explanation | | August 23, 2008 Nice place with seperate area for alcohol in back of market. Has a decent selection, nothing extreme though you can often find seasonals or special releases that sell out quick at other places. I got some Hopslam and Expedition long after the season. They also offer singles and mix your own six. Keep in mind that they close at 8pm in the summer and 7pm the rest of the year. Market is pretty good with organic choices and some unique seafood and vegatable offerings occasionally. | | sliffy (86), Columbus, Ohio | | April 2, 2008 Well I finally remembered to go check this place out while I was at Palmer’s and I must say it was definitely worth a stop. It would appear that they are new to the craft beer radar right now, as they had a few nice finds still lingering around. The usual ohio selection can be found here, plus a very nice liquor section, at least the scotches. It won’t be a regular stop for me, but I can definitely see myself coming back from time to time. | samiamthebest (1), columbus, Ohio does not count - explanation | | February 7, 2008 The beer selection is wonderful. they have just about any beer that is available in ohio. and they will also special order stuff they dont cary all the time. the meat and seafood there is also very good. |
