| Snojerk321 (53), San Diego, California | | February 16, 2010 Went here looking for a few bottles of Expo Hoppiness but they were sold out. Still had a fairly good selection of locals plus a few kind of rare beers from Rogue. Beer guy was kind of a dick, seemed too busy to help me while he was engrossed in his conversation with a co worker. The store was very bright inside, you know when you come out of a movie theater in the day time........it was like that. | | paytoplay (10), , California | | December 1, 2009 outstanding selection and prices that are pretty amazing. main reason i return is the price with good rare stuff and all the regular drinkers. | | ghawener (53), San Salvador, El Salvador | | July 31, 2009 After visiting Whole Foods, Bev and More, Bristol Farms, Keg and Bottle; I was disappointed, small limited selection. Refrigeration space is small and they have a similar selection that you´d get at any supermarket. I didn´t buy a single bottle. | | WeeHeavySD (111), San Diego (Hillcrest), California | | February 21, 2009 [ Updated March 3, 2009 ] I’ve been here a few times, the selection has gotten drastically better recently. Mostly its a good place in the middle of San Diego that has an Alpine account. Worth hiting up, but not the best nor worst place. This is really a grocery store with a decent beer selection.
Selection has gotten bette rbut nothing compared to the store next to it now. | | mjg74 (42), La Mesa, California | | January 7, 2009 Decent sized health food store with a growing beer selection. This was my first trek to this store in a couple of years and they do have a decent selection. They seem to specialize in local brews, but have a nice newer section that features mostly Belgian stuff. They have Alpine, Port, Lost Abbey and alot of other locals. Some imports include Hitachino, Harvistoun, and Fantome. Prices aren’t great, but then aren’t too bad either. Another good thing about the location is that this place is right next door to a very solid Del Cerro Liquor. |
