Went there yesterday with my friend from Santa Ana. This place was called Sall y Pimienta out front; didn’t see a Wine-O sign. They carried 3 kinds of beer, all German and had a total stocked inventory on the shelf of 6 units. I got 2 of their 3 kinds of beer which were all German: Bitburger Pils, Erdinger Krystalweizen, and Licher Hefe Weizen. The Licher had a sell by date of today. Friendly folks but knew nothing of any home brew supplies or larger selection of beer. The blonde lady who we spoke with The beer was on the bottom shelf out front and they had a nice selectiion of wines. Plus some international deli type grocery stuff. We didn’t check out the resto. Wine-O is actually a Wine Outlet, but they offer a great selection with limited quantities of rare and hard to get beers from all over the world. Beers go fast so check in often to see what´s available that day. They are also the only place in El Salvador that can help you get set up with home brewing. It’s located inside the Sal y Pimienta restaurant that offers good food and a nice place to enjoy a good beer (or wine!). |
