10 reviews for Yard House (Las Vegas)
| Braudog (478), Dayton, Ohio | | October 11, 2009 I guess if you’re after a huge selection of beers, this is the spot. Didn’t really see much that was especially extraordinary or unusual, but still a healthy lineup of beers in a town that otherwise doesn’t offer much in the way of a local beer scene. Bit out of the way for the Vegas tourist. | | Hopper (12), San Antonio, Texas | | July 20, 2009 Came here for early dinner. I really like the way the taps are set up with all the lines running in the big silver piping running along the ceiling of the place. They do have a broad selection of beers here & wish I had more time to drink some of the beers I can’t get where I live. I would say the food was average(the Jerk wings as an appetizer was pretty good), my cheeseburger was average nothing special, but I came here for the beer. It is a little pricey at $6.00/pint but I would come back. | ktlasnv (1), , does not count - explanation | | June 20, 2009 We had a HORRIBLE experience for lunch. Bartender lost our credit card. Manager was pitiful, saying, "oh guess it’s lost". Made no effort to apologize, comp meal, NOTHING. Called my credit card company and someone had already made 6 charges on the card. Did the bartender hand our card off to "a friend". Low life employees............beware if you are using a credit card!!! Do not go to this restaurant. They don’t care about the customer, just stealing your credit card. I would NEVER go back. Manager was sorry excuse for a so called person in charge. | | Tmoney99 (254), Cincinnati, Ohio | | February 14, 2009 In town for business and went here for eastern time dinner. Mid-day.
Keg cooler in view behind glass as you come in the door. Bar in the center with taps circle in the center.
Weather was pleasent so we sat on the patio and had a dip app and the seafood lunch on menu. Both were good portions and very good flavor.
I found four west coast beers I had not had before and was pleased with that. I can understand why someone from the west coast would think the beer selection was boring.
Could not stay for Happy Hour, my lose I believe. $3 pints and half price apps.
Nice upscale tap location with good food. | | ajm (161), Los Angeles, California | | January 20, 2009 I would be more likely to go here than the Freakin’ Frog, which pains me to say, but the Happy Hour is just killer here. Especially if you roll in on a Sunday night and close the place for less than twenty bones. Was surprised at the variety - I think they do a better job than the Pasadena location, but they still fight to make it look bigger than it is. No 777 on tap which is also dumb. I am positive that service is hit or miss, and value is a 9 during happy hour but a five all other times. It is hard to find because there’s no sign from LVB. It’s at the back of the Town Square shopping center. Just north of the intersection of LV Blvd and the 215. | | nqualls (35), Nashville, Tennessee | | January 16, 2009 This place had a bunch of taps, and being from the eastern US, there were a lot of beers that I haven’t tasted on tap. The wait for a table was terrible (over an hour), but the bar was quick with the beer. The food was excellent once we got seated, and the waitress was even knowledgeable about beer. Wish I could have visited more than once. | BNSLY (6), Las Vegas, Nevada does not count - explanation | | December 11, 2008 The Yardhouse is a great place to have a beer. With 130 beers on tap. There is plenty to chose from. The happy hour is great too. Mon. thur Fri. 3pm to 6pm. Half priced beers and appetizers. Cannot beat that. | Balsam (2), Minnesota does not count - explanation | | July 2, 2008 I loved this place. nice to go and get away from the strip for awhile. Great selection of beers on tap - hard to choose what to drink. The food was very good as well. Wait staff was friendly and fairly knowledgable. | | kmeves (97), Mount Pleasant, Wisconsin | | May 11, 2008 Very large place in a mall area near the airport. The beers were all served from a tap, no bottles (i.e. no Belgians). A very large number of taps, mostly easy to find beers and nothing really special. The menu stated that Drakes beers were available but the bartender informed me otherwise. Food is above average. | | Taverner (77), San Ramon, California | | May 5, 2008 Overall, not bad. Just like every other Yardhouse in California. Las Vegas has a horrible beer scene, so if you’re sick of the Freakin Frog this place is a nice diversion. 200-300 beers on tap, nothing in bottles. Had a decent selection of Abita, Stone, Lost Coast, etc... Chain beer at its best. Note: this place is a little hard to find. Yes its on the strip, but way out near the airport. It’s in the shopping/mall next to Frys. |
