Good burgers and a decent beer selection. A little tight inside, and can take a little time, but well worth it.

Classic Cincinnati favorite, famous for their burgers. 8 taps -- one end of the bar for craft (Stone IPA, Bell’s Oberon, Lake Erie Monster, Mt Carmel), and typical macro stuff on the other half. About 7 or 8 craft bottles to choose from as well, along with the macro bottles. Not a huge variety, but what they choose to stock are solid choices. Decor is always pretty cool. Model train has been circling the dining area for as long as I can remember. Nice Cincinnati images and paintings set the local mood. A low-key chill environment, although surprisingly loud for 3pm. I felt somewhat out of place next to the other guys at the smallish bar, they seemed like clear regulars, whereas I probably just looked like a weirdo kid with a notebook. The bartenders were reasonably helpful and friendly, though. Just sort of hanging out and watching the game with the other regulars. Prices are typical, reasonable for the always-excellent food. My check came out to $13 for everything - $5 for my IPA, about $8 for the cheeseburger and fries. Craft bottles were listed as $5.50 each.. Food is the main event here. Burger and fries are both made pretty much as good as they could be made.

This is a burger place that rotates 6-7 craft beers on tap and in bottles. I had an Oaked Aged Arrogant Bastard and a Ruination. Not much knowledge of craft beer. The burgers are great, but they can be slow or unfriendly when busy.

Very interesting local bar/restaurant. Easy to find location in Mt. Lookout area of Cincy. Parking is limited to street parking and small lot in square. Small bar area in back with swinging doors with room in front with table seating. Had a bowl of chili that had good flavor. The beer selection is a few taps and standard bottles. Worth a visit if in the area.

Zip’s is known for burgers, and they serve up simple, tasty burgers at a fairly cheap price. If you’re not on a diet, try the Train Wreck, a burger with 2 patties, a grilled mettwurst, and shaved ham. Zip’s buys its meat from Avril’s downtown, the best butcher in Cincinnati. The beer selection is so-so, with few taps and a typical bottle selection. Guinness, at least one Moerlein, and a seasonal Bell’s always seem to be on tap. It seems crowded all the time, and isn’t a big place. The old interior with a model train running the perimeter of the ceiling makes it a fun little place to grab a booth and have a few. Terry’s Turf Club is 5-10 minutes away and serves up both a better burger and much better beer menu.
