decent spot, alt was great. big beer hall, worth a stop

Although the ambiente is not as great as in the Uerige, Frankenheim or Fuechsen it is my favorite brewery in D’dorf (the best pub is Uerige). In my opinion they have the best Alt beer in town. The traditional D’dorf food and the service is as good as in the other places. You will for sure not remain without beer for too long.

Typical outdoor/indoor bar. Decent price for the one beer they offer. You shouldn’t be trying anything other than what the place brews anyway at a bar with the beers name in it. Cheap and decent beer. Nice outdoor ambiance.

The service here was much more efficient than at Zum Uerige. The selction consists only of the house alt, which is really good. The interior is full of atmosphere and there’s room both indoors and outdoors.

Place was OK , not best in town but what is best in the world its their beer. Best Alt there is – end of story. For that reason must visit when in town.

The best altbier in town is served here. Very spacey, huge place with long halls and several huge rooms. Great food also, huge portions to a very cheap price. A must go when in Dusseldorf

Yes. The best Alt in Dusseldorf and the best service. Right across the street from Goldener Kessel. Can get crowded but you can get a glass of Alt even in the toilet area if you ask for it.
