Love this location compared to the new one in the Shops @ Legacy since this is much larger and that one nearly seems like a clique hangout. Just my experience. Great beer selection, best atmosphere in a beer pub that I’ve seen and just a downright good time. Located inside a large wooden house with a cool biergarten out back. Not counting how far I would have to drive to go here, this is my third favorite place to go for a beer.

Part of the appear of this place is the great outdoor biergarten as well as the interior. It’s an old house, and just feels homey. Service is my biggest complaint. The bartenders tend to ignore you unless you’re a regular, but occasionally good service is to be had. It’s just not the rule. Selection is one of the better bars in Dallas. Generally at least a handful of unique selections that you won’t find many other places. The Moth and Common Table tend to out do them now though. Food is typical pub fare. Decent, but nothing special. Pricing is generally very fair. Overall, worth a stop if you’re visiting Dallas and only have time to visit a handful of places, but not if you’re only going to 1 or 2.

Classic pub-style bar with the dim lights and smell of beer all over the place. The servers are always nice and exceptionally knowledgeable about beer and are always willing to make suggestions if you don’t know what you want. They have many special beers and seasonal, rotating beers, and all beers are fairly priced. I think I’ve had just about every beer on the tap list in all the styles I like.

Really cool scene with a nice chill environment. The old English style pub feel is great along with the great knowledge and personality of the servers. Always has real nice, smart, and pretty servers. Great selection although a lot of the time they have stuff still on their menu even though they are out. overall my favorite pub.

Craft beer pub located in Uptown Dallas. Interior is pretty standard - dimly lit, lots of wood and old beer paraphernalia. I have to concede the outside area at the back was pretty cool and the atmosphere and service was good. The draft range is pretty impressive and had quite a few decent brews, but on my last they visit they didn’t have anything particularly rare or outstanding. The bottle selection is also pretty wide-ranging but has the same problem as the draught range. All in all it’s a top venue in the Dallas beer scene.

Last Monday was my first time back at Ginger Man Dallas in a long time. Great place. The old house feel with the large back yard patio/beer garden is what every pub should aspire to. There was one bartendar and one waitress working (I think Kevin and Jana) who were both knowledgable, friendly, and you can tell they care about what they are doing. Still the only complaint I have about the G-man, no liquor, and the food. I get the no alcohol, but these chains have been around too long to still have such poor food choices.

Cool pub set inside an old house in Uptown Dalllas. I really enjoy the upstairs area and actually had my engagement party and part of my bachelor party there. Good selection with the occasional rarity popping up on tap. Well exucuted glass nights. Service is decent and with most Dallas beer bars some of the staff knows little to nothing about beer.
