Visited May 30, 2011. I enjoyed having a flight with my brother to sample the GB brews. Food was ok to good. Service wasn’t great but they were busy. Had a real chain feel, but the patio was a great place to watch the ocean and harbor.

Many visits over the years, GB makes a great meet-up place for adventures in Honolulu. The place is very nice inside, but lacks some pub ambiance - very California chain feel. The outdoor section has fantastic views of the harbor and marina however, which adds value. Don’t sit inside if you can avoid it. Food is very good and some effort is applied here. Selection is a variety of German beers, as one might expect. Always try a seasonal or special brew if you can, they’re generally more interesting. Don’t expect much beer knowledge from the servers, but the bartenders will be better - if they’re not too busy.

Had lunch with my girlfriend here during a long layover coming back from Maui. I’ve never been a huge fan of GB beer so I wasn’t expecting all that much, but they aren’t bad beers so I was still happy to go. Had a couple of their normal offerings and thought of them as being right on par with all the other GB I’ve had. Just OK. The food was real good, though. Like all things Hawaii, it was pricey. I wouldn’t seek it out specifically to go back but I wouldn’t be mad if I did end up here again, either. The view of the working harbor is an interesting backdrop, too.

This place is ok. I am not a fan of the beer. The food is good enough. I like the view of Honolulu Harbor and the live music. Expensive!

Stopped in for dinner. I’ve been here in the past, but never rated the place. The beers were good, seasonal was the best of them all. Staff was friendly. The food is always good here and with good food and decent beer, definitely worth the stop if you are visiting the mall.

Visited while on vacation in Oahu. Great location in a shopping mall, next to a cruise ship departure. Great view of docks. Beers are more suited to general public. Recommend going with your family or friends.

Good place to hang out. Had a great time there. The food was better than I expected and the view was great at sunset. I liked sitting by the water it made for a very nice time and watch the cruise ship to be enjoyible really.

Great view of the side of a cruise ship! All GB’s are about the same, so if you like one, then you’ll like this one.

Great little location, except for the occasional ship off the patio. Great open patio bar, and nice open air inside dining area. Had most of their beers on tap, and service was with Aloha! Go there at least once a month. Good times, then stroll up to Bikini Cantina, and see the good sights.

I wasn’t too impressed with the beer selection, it was all lagers and mostly light ones at that. Nice view of the Ocean and the food we had was fairly good.
