March 18, 2012 a beautiful spring day to sit out on the patio at flanagans. the sun was warm the day was beautiful and then...really didnt appear to be that busy but the service was terribly slow. first off the draft beer selection was minimal granted day after st pattys day but what they had was normal run of the mill mild beers. can get most anywhere else. the food is decent pub grub i had the chef salad which was pretty good, daughter had grilled cheese that was really good. friend had bison burger and when she asked for mayo she ended up going in to get her own. waitress disappeard for about 15 minutes again thought she was busy only to emerge with a tray with 3 waters..when we asked for our tab it was wrong but the table figured it out...use to hang in this place alot but after today really dont have a reason to go back. |

December 14, 2011 Easy to find location on Baxter Avenue with street parking. Clean Irish pub with a wood bar in the middle and tables all around and patio outside the back door. Freindly service with good knowledge of selection of 18 taps. All beers on tap were average to good. Good food menu of Irish and american apps and dinner selections. I enjoyed the visit. |

October 18, 2011 Another typical Irish Pub that college kids take over on the weekends. Pretty good food and an alright beer selection. |

October 17, 2011 This place is a lot like O’Sheas and seeing as how they are owned by the same family one can see why. It’s just about the same as O’Sheas really. The food is solid and the selection is pretty good. A good bar to go out to for some beers and food. I also go to this one during the week as on the weekends it gets crazy packed and you’ll pay a cover to get in (just like at O’Sheas) |

September 12, 2011 This place is a pseudo Irish style pub. They have decent selection of draft and bottled beers. This place was one of the better places to go in the city but basically have fallen due to employee/mgr turnover. Service outside of the bartenders is terrible. Food is boring and not very good; really wish they would update their menu and hire a new cook. Will update later. |

June 6, 2011 Typical Irish pub atmosphere. Very friendly and efficient servers. The draft beer selection is just above average. Nothing really great on draft when I visited, but it looked like have special keg tappings every so often that were much better. The food was good --- typical pub food.
Not a destination. Good to fall back on if you can find anything else open/nearby for some reason.

January 3, 2011 good selection of beers, but the staff (when i’ve been there) don’t seem to know or care much about beer. the food is pretty good - its more a "party" bar than a beer bar, but they do have good beer and thats fine with me. it can get slammed and the service will suffer, as expected. i do give them props on the beer selection, in that location, they could get away with a few premiums and the standard american/other mass produced brands. |

December 6, 2010 Apparently, not knowing the bartender means you don’t get service. For the prices, I find this to be a fatal shortcoming. I won’t be going back. |

June 15, 2010 Beer and food selection are pretty decent, however there are a few gems to this place that make me coming back... Thursday nights are their special pint nights where they feature 2 special brews from around the world and the best part about it is you get to keep the signature glass it comes in!
Also their Greek Salad is the best Greek salad I have ever had (granted I’ve never been to Greece) definitely worth trying! Another thing that is pretty awesome as far as food goes is you can ’upgrade’ any ground beef burger to a bison burger! Also check out the Red Room (the building in the back) after pint night (9pm) for trivia, it’s pretty awesome! |
