December 1, 2011 was there for black out friday. this is a small bar with not alot of tables and chairs and this place was packed and then some. pretty quick time at the bar getting a beer. hate the fact they served it in plastic cups. the selection deserves glass. sorry just my opinion. have been there before and gotten a glass for the beer. just happened to be that night. had a band that was very good and you could actually talk and hear each other even though the music was playing. will go back as i can nice little neighborhood bar. |

September 2, 2011 It’s a small place located in a neighborhood noted for small mom and pop bars. Beer selection is pretty good. Nice beers on tap. Prices dependent upon availability. I could go to one place and have a 10 oz beer for $8 and get a pint here for $6. I’d go back again when I’m out on the town. This place should have a higher rating but serves no food, which affects the overall score. |

March 10, 2011 The place in Louisville. An authentic craft beer experience in a state with few and far between. |

July 23, 2010 The Nachbar is probably one of the best hidden gems in Louisville. All of the staff are knowledgeable and friendly, except for one that seems cranky every now and then.
Ambiance couldn’t be better, feels sturdy and reminiscent of "home."
Nachbar sports one of the best selections in town for a place that isn’t a full of testosterone induced rage or birthday shots, birthday shots, birthday shots. Their drafts are generally all exceptional and ever rotating. Their bottle list is great yet only limited by space.
Most every time I’ve asked for a beer I’ve gotten proper glassware, which is important.
Nachbar has something for everyone. It’s a must go if you need a relaxing place during the day or night.
Though, a possible warning is that in between the hours of 11pm and 2am on Friday and Saturday it becomes crowded with men with ironic mustaches and tight pants. |

June 15, 2010 Pretty cool place and cool people...very chill with a decent beer selection as well as bourbon selection. Great place to venture to if you’re not into the ’club’ scene of most downtown places. |

May 13, 2010 Good atmosphere, though it seems kind of trendy. Above average selection (quality over quantity). Wish the service was a little quicker. |

August 23, 2009 Not so easy to find location on the corner in Germantown district. Parking on the street. Clean remodeled bar in the middle of building and wall tables, sofa in the back and fenced patio in the front.
Freindly staff. 16 beers on tap. Good selection of above average drafts and bottles in cooler next to bar. I had an Old Style draft. I would recommend as a locals or 21 to 35 age range stop. |
