| rjplumer (12), Foxboro, Massachusetts | | April 14, 2012 Nice atmosphere. Decent selection. Worth a visit if your in the area. Tried Belgian Saison which was good. May try the Kolsch after. Friendly atmosphere. | iBodhisattva (8), Providence, Rhode Island does not count - explanation | | March 19, 2012 My rating here is pretty low for a place I rather like, but so be it. I really enjoy the atmosphere here-pure indy pub. I really enjoy there beers: hearty and satisfying. I find the people on both sides of the counter a bit dull in RI, my apologies but RI is just not the most outgoing place and it really shows here. But, I kinda dig their beer especially their IPA. | | j12601 (214), Poughkeepsie, New York | | October 18, 2011 Came in here while waiting to meet up with my wife’s cousin who currently lives in Providence. Nice laid back atmosphere, and definitely a local feel to the place. Split a couple of appetizers and I got a flight. Beers were decent enough. Service was good, and friendly. Worth stopping in if you’re in the area, and I’m sure I’ll be back the next time I’m in Providence. | | Braudog (611), Hampton, Virginia | | August 25, 2011 Not at all what I expected (but I should’ve read the reviews in advance) -- this is a quirky, murky pub. We opted to eat elsewhere only because the menu here is somewhat limited, so can’t comment on the food. The beer list was somewhat depleted on our arrival, unfortunately, with just 5 or 6 drafts available. My wife and I had a beer each, and I’d say one was very good and one was just OK. That said, I could enjoy more evenings here given the opportunity. | | Jow (59), New York | | July 28, 2011 At home visiting the family decided to broaden my hose state beer rates. Didn’t get any food but there were lots of beers available. Not only were all taps going but some barrel aged cask ale as well. place was nothing special for decor and parking was sucky. but i got good and drunk beers were nice enough. | | LiteWait (13), New Hampshire | | July 10, 2011 Building looks "hookie" and out of place in downtown Providence. It’s small, looks like an old, run-down theatre or circus building, with bright sinage, dinasours and animal heads on the walls. The big brew fermentors are behind glass, behind the bar. very dark and dingy inside. Beer styles were hung like picture frames behind the bar with good descriptions and ABV. Service is average. Same with the food and the beer. Glad we stopped and tried it. | | AirForceHops (47), Epping, New Hampshire | | July 10, 2011 Stopped in on 9 July 2011 on a Slow Saturday afternoon. The bartender was average. My food was very good. Had the pulled pork with grilled onions with horseradish mayo. Very tasty. I would say the food is slightly above average for a pub. I had three beers and two of the three where good. It is in a old building near the Dunkin Donuts Center. Interesting decor inside and outside the pub.. I would say if your in town its worth a trip. Prices are average to anywhere else. | | michael-pollack (100), King of Prussia, Pennsylvania | | January 18, 2011 Cool building and interior. Service was fine, but nothing special. 6 house brews on tap. Food was just fair. My "medium-rare" burger was well done, and the fries were cold. Average prices. I will not be going back. | | beerbill (80), Laurel, New York | | August 13, 2010 We decided to stop in for dinner on our way up to Boston for a college visitation with my daughter. The location is very conveniently located just off I-95, which was a plus in my decision to stop there. The place itself has a very lively feel to it both from the patrons and the various decorations and mural in the dining area. Service was fine and the food was very good. My wife had a lobster mac & cheese that she especially enjoyed. There were seven beers on tap, however, their beer list was not up to date, so the first two choices that I made were no longer available and had been replaced with other beers, which was a bit annoying. Overall, I thought this was a fun place and will definitely stop by again the next time we are heading up that way. | tenchiro (8), Providence, Rhode Island does not count - explanation | | May 23, 2010 Trinity is a fun spot downtown Providence. The brew good beer and have a good kitchen. Try the IPA but don’t limit yourself as their other offerings can be quite nice as well. |
