Crazy busy beer hall. Samples of all 17 available taps for 15 bucks. Awesome.

Longbar, 25 plus people can sit, another 6 4 person tables. More tables plus outdoor seating. Has good neighborhood feel for being downtown. Good choices of beer, not across the board diversity, but hey your at Russian River. Service was ok way a somewhat late lunch did have to ask a couple times for water, only mention because it was.first thing I asked.for. food was tasty, good. Prices are fine for area, nothing outrageous. Glad to finally visit.

Visited for lunch on a Saturday in April with my wife. The place was hopping when we got there, though we were seated at a bar table before I even got out beers from the bar. The scene is a long bar, with bar tables and regular seating off to the side. The crowd was very happy, you can tell everyone was excited to be here. We ordered two half pints, and about 16 samples. I love how they do their samples - 2 oz pours in a per-labeled paddle / rack type thing. They had 18 of their own beers on, plus the Oliva Quad from Sierra Nevada as a guest. The food is heavy on pizzas, though other pub choices are available as well. We ordered the Pliny bites, which were great, and a pizza, which after waiting over an hour, we canceled. Apparently we showed up between two group, and the kitchen had been blasted. Not a big deal, but I certainly wish we would have been told this when we ordered, as we had a limited amount of time to wait. Overall, the server handled the situation OK - he comped a bunch of our meal, though I would have gladly paid the ticket had the communication and attentiveness been better. I really wanted to love this place, and for the most part I did. However, I think I just caught this place on one of those days. I am hoping I will have a chance to revisit (on a less busy day / time).

Went on a Sunday afternoon following a trip into the Armstrong Reserve Redwood Forest. Crowded, typical bar atmosphere. Had most of the usual suspects on the day of our visit. Ordered a few Plinys for the table (at $3ish a pint, who wouldn’t???) then some samplers. Loved the huge paddle with 16 brews on board. Would like to revisit on PtY or Beatification release days.

03/24/12 mid Saturday afternoon visit. A tourist meets locals place. Very busy and slow service. The length of the bar was 2-3 people deep and we waited 45 minutes for a table. The reason I was here was for the beer and it did not disappoint. Had a pint of Pliny and a sampler of all their 16 taps (great value for $15). For food we had the Margherita pizza which was very good. A must visit if you are anywhere near this area.

100% worth the drive from SF for an afternoon. Fantastic brew pub duh! Where else can you get all this on tap or take a case of Pliny with you. The place has a great attitude and energy with locals and beer tourist alike. Service was fine. I had some pretty good pizza and wings...which were probably too hot to be drinking with a flight of their belgians. Yeah so the flight, for someone who can’t get most of these in NYC easily that was the way to go bookended by IPAs. Wish they could have been full pints but then I wouldn’t have been able to drive home....the only bummer.

I finally made it. Had a wonderful lunch with Mr. Tucker and Mr. & Mrs. Weaver. Very little street parking out front but an ample pay lot ($2.00/2hrs) in the back. Arrived mid-afternoon on a Saturday and the place was jam-packed. Waited about 20 minutes for a table for 4. Not too bad. Even though it was busy, I received fairly prompt service at the bar. Tap list is all awesome and all Russian River. Really can’t complain. Plenty of bottles to go. I saw at least 15 growlers leave the place in the 2 hours I spent there. Once we got to the table, our server wasn’t the best. He forgot Ken’s bottle of Redemption, but then comped it once the bill came. I really wish I could’ve spent more time there. It’s the kind of place that I would like to belly up to the bar, sit there all day and get hammered. Some day...

Located in Santa Rosa town centre. We visited on a Thursday evening and thankfully managed to get a table straight away. It’s actually quite a large place inside, the interior is pretty standard of brewpubs in the US. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. The food comprises of mostly pizza, which were pretty tasty, but don’t quite match up against those at Pizza Port. The beer selection is what this place is all about. About 20 Russian River brews on trap and 8 bottles. They do tasting flights which is good way to try and get through a lot of the beers. The IPAs and sour beers are great, but I find a lot of the other Belgian-style brews not to my taste. Value was pretty good also. Well worth a visit.

I was visiting family and timed my visit to coincide with Pliny the Younger. Went on February 4, 2012 - Day 2 of Pliny the Younger. Waited in line 5 hours to get in. It was worth it! Not in love with all the beers (had a 20 beer flight), but absolutely LOVE Pliny the Elder and Pliny the Younger. Great staff and service. Want to go back when it’s NOT PTY week :-)
