Wow, even after you turn into the proper adobe-coloured plaza that houses this place, it is still hard to locate thanks to pretty poor signage. But man, it is worth the goose chase! the minute you walk in, you can feel the beer geek vibe-- tap handles and other breweriana everywhere! A great wall of taps faces an equally great help-yourself cooler. The staff were super friendly and eager to pour samples and just hang and hat about beers. We had th white pizza and it was delicious. You can buy bottles to go, and I was impressed with how fairly priced things seemed to be. I got a 750ml bottle of Speedway Decadence 2011 for $12. An absolute must if you are a beer geek in the desert.

If I didn’t live 3,000 miles away I’d be here almost every day and for very good reason. The selection is nothing short of spectacular. Plenty of world-class brews flowing the taps with many rare gems alongside Papago’s own well-crafted beers. The bottled selection is insane with a strong Western U.S./West Coast influence but with plenty of strong brewers from the rest of the country along with Belgians and other imports represented. The menu is narrow but compliments the starring brews. Just an amazing place to sit and enjoy some top notch beers in a great craft beer environment. Only real drawback is the strip mall setting but you forget all about that the second the door closes behind you.

Visited Papago Brewing to check out the very high Ratebeer score. I totally agree that this is a real beer geek’s bar. Excellent draft and 450 bottle selection. Tasty salads and excellent ambiance.

Great selection of beer, plus their own brew on tap as well. i had their porter, which was pretty tasty. Wait staff wasn’t incredibly attentive, although they were a little busy. they were very nice, however. I would recommend checking out their own brew as well as the other great stuff they have on tap.

Very cool place in south Scottsdale. Dark and old-school with wood panels and concrete floors. Feels like a brewery should feel. Awesome selection of beers on tap and MANY bottled beers (all chilled) too.

The best craft place in the state? Possibly. The owner Ron is very knowlegable and has been around a long time. Great selection of bottles and taps. Great food, had the best spinach artichoke dip i have ever had at this place. Draft prices are kinda high but not bad.

Local hometown bar feel with bottles lining the windows and tap handles on the wall. Hosts great events with brewers and has some of the rarer kegs to hit AZ. What sets this place apart is the massive beer fridge and ability to get bottles to go. Grab a pint while browsing the selection...pretty epic, especially if you aren’t used to seeing AleSmith, Port/LA, and FW sitting on the shelf.

Easy to find and plenty of parking. Friendly atmosphere. A small bar but lots of table seating. Great selection of taps and an impressive selection of bottles. Some local stuff you can’t find elsewhere. I liked all of the tap handles on the rafters.

This place has great beers on tap and has a great beer fridge. Every time I am there it seems they have something I have not been offered before. I would recommend for anyone to go there. The one thing they would benefit from is better service. Other than that, I give this place 5 stars.They also have growlers to go, which is awesome!

This is hands down the most popular and prestigous beer place in arizona. Their selection and constant rotation of rare taps is hard to beat anywhere I have been in the country. However, the service is not good. It seems like an eternity when trying to order a beer although most recently this had improved thanks to one server. The pizza is great and so is the fridge, but not always good enough to compensate.
