| Petronius (24), Seattle, Washington | | April 19, 2012 I enjoyed the ambiance and service from a lady bartender more, then their beer/food. Guest taps were solid, but pretty generic for a brewpub. | | mcberko (59), Vancouver, British Columbia | | February 17, 2012 Popped in here for a few pints on a Thursday evening. Very relaxed and laid back atmosphere, friendly servers, and an impressive tap list - totally different than the nearby Brouwers at this particular time. Very reasonably priced. Definitely recommended. | | Smurf2055 (22), Seattle, Washington | | February 9, 2012 Good vibe. Good service. The food is reasonable. There’s a very nice selection of beer on tap. This brewpub puts out their own beers as well as putting on some very good taps from the area and the region. Very good spot to check out. | | OldGrowth (132), North Carolina | | September 18, 2011 ok looking place, lots of gray IIRC, nothing fancy, industrailish I guess. Service was good, but I only had a couple beers I got at the bar. Happened to be a Silver City Tap takeover as part of thier anniversary celebration. Silver city crew was there handing out swag. must of had 10-15 of silver city on tap. I had the cask saison and Fat Woody Scotch ale. easy bus ride from down town. | | adnielsen (277), Fort Collins, Colorado | | August 8, 2011 Cool joint with their own beers which were ok to good and a bunch of guest taps. Atmosphere was pretty cool. Definitely worth a stop if you’re anywhere near by. | | mabel (211), Toronto, Ontario | | July 13, 2011 2010-07. Visited late on a Friday afternoon last July, I found this place to be dark, loud, and beery. 30+ on tap, 30+ bottles, just 3 of their own brews on tap which were pretty decent. The service was fine but they seemed a little out to lunch. Locals are abundant and rowdy, which makes for a better reputation. Would return but was disappointed specifically in the poor selection of NC brews. One of the few brewpubs I’ve visited that lacks a sampler tray offering. | | HopScotchnWine (11), Washington | | March 19, 2011 Great lineup and they always tweet their tap changes...THANK YOU! Knowledgeable staff but not very chatty. Overall, one o the top 5 places to grab a beer in and around Seattle. | | MartinT (469), Montreal, Quebec | | March 2, 2011 Rather generic pub and restaurant in northern Seattle with a wonderful draft list; enough to keep you here all night and then some. Their website is updated regularly. There are as many low-gravity brews on as more potent options, which I love. The waitress didn’t seem to like that we were ordering different beers all the time though, which was strange. The food was ordinary, but the beer menu kept us going for a long time. As it is out of the way, I would only come here if I planned to pass by the area and was looking for the best tap selection. Extra points for encouraging up-and-coming breweries too (Everybody’s, 7 Seas, Foggy Noggin’, etc.) | | Apchron (10), Alabama | | February 17, 2011 Beer list is always great. Food is organic and tasty. Service can be hit or miss at times. | | jerc (211), Toronto, Ontario | | July 18, 2010 2010-07. Dark with the lights turned down low, very warm temperature inside. Friendly staff is nice but hard to flag down at times. Food was good. Pulled pork lacking in sauce but was literally melt in your mouth tender, bun included. Turkey bacon sandwich was also quite good. House beers that were on when we were there were kind of terrible, whether it be from quality or condition. With a tap and bottle list as good as they had I’m sort of disappointed that we wasted our time with the house offerings. It was nice enough and I would likely visit if I lived in the neighbourhood but for a visitor I would recommend hitting other places in Seattle before this one. |
