Very friendly place right off the main drag. Had a couple outdoor seating areas, two indoor rooms and a small bar. Food was ok - we came in on sushi night and it was surprisingly good. The beer was pretty average, but the staff made up for that. very cool and comfortable adobe building and I would not hesitate to come back.

Beer isn’t the best, highlight is their chili beer. Still, its in an old adobe building in the center of Taos. I’ve been there on multiple occasions, always in the summer. Great for a post dinner drink.

Friendly vibe like drinking in someone’s living room. But the beers aren’t very good. I thought the Senor Fumar in bottles was their finest brew by far - the others range from mediocre to downright sketchy.

Much friendlier than expected and totally unpretentious. Felt like a local. Sat at the tiny bar, which has all of 3 or 4 seats. Staff very friendly and chatty but it was also off-hours and easy to do that. Lots of options for seating, especially with the addition of patio in summer. The beers were largely disappointing but alright, and the chili beer was actually pretty good. Worth a visit when in Taos. Had 6 house plus 4 guest taps.

I ate here with five others... I doubt we could have fit inside, but the large patio dining area was very pleasant. Our lunches were all hearty, filling and delicious. Their own beers encompass a mishmash of dissimilar styles... I had a "Mr. Personality" American strong ale, which tasted English; malty-estery with banana and boozy notes. Drinkable but not especially good. So, while I wouldn’t make Eske’s a beer destination, it’s a nice little hippie eatery to escape from the tourist trap bustle for a while.

Tiny little old-fashioned style adobe building, I guess as they all are in Taos, set back from the main road. Outdoor seating of I think 8 picnic tables much more spacious than the interior, pleasantly shaded, gravel sort of ground. Service was friendly and prompt and knew the offerings well enough. Pretty short list, but a good variety. The guest taps offered were solid "major" crafts, and though I don’t generally care whether or not a brewpub offers guest beers, if they do take the effort, I’d rather see more local selection. Not a huge deal though. Beer itself was pretty good, on the good side of average, and the Black Cat was quite tasty and interesting. Food was marvelous, mostly vegetarian (robust vegetarian, nothing meek) but often with the option to add ground turkey. I got some burrito something or other, massive serving size, but all great, healthy stuff so after downing the whole thing I was stuffed but didn’t feel disgusting. Though the beer itself perhaps is not destination worthy, everything else is just so right.

Went to Eske’s on a pretty low key day and had great service and had a great chat with the owner and founder. Tasted several of teir brews and was overall impressed but definitely not amazed. I had a beef brisket and it was one of the best i have had in a while so big props. I’ll definitely eat there again!

This is a cozy little brewpub in the touristy town of Taos, NM. Very limited indoor seating including 4-5 seats at the "bar" (the indoors resembles a Mexican/southwestern pub) but there are a bunch of tables outside. Very nice outdoor seating with pretty trees providing plenty of shade. A very chill, friendly place. They had 6 beers on tap including some interesting styles (imperial stout, green chile ale, schwarzbier). Beers available in pints, 10 oz, and 4 oz samplers. The beers were mediocre to good, mostly good. Also they have a few guest taps (nothing crazy - a Stone, New Belgium, and something else), and a couple bottles. The food menu is short, but the food is outstanding. I got the "fatty" which was a tortilla filled with mashed potatoes, ground turkey, beans, green chili, and cheese on top. It was HUGE and so good!! Reasonable pricing. Definitely a great place to stop, don’t forget to try the green chili ale.

My kind of joint, off the beaten path, good beer, good food, nice people. Another reviewer used the term "bohemian joint" perfectly. I enjoyed my visit, you should too.

Great setting, a beautiful bbuilding with the interior that has the look and feel of an old English pub. Great food and very good beers. I don’t generally like chili beers (they’re palette killers) but theirs is the best I’ve ever had, with good chili flavor that’s more subtle and never overpowering. The brewer also brought out his Saison, which was excellent with nice peppery notes.
