January 24, 2009 Best Bishops Arms I have visited. Good selection on tap with several nice Swedish micros and very good selection on bottle with a lot of rare beers. Very nice personal with good knowledge. |

February 18, 2008 Visited several times.
The beers are ok, fine selection and ok rooms. The only problem is the prices!. |

January 10, 2008 I’ve visited all three TBA’s in Gothenburg, I would say Västra Hamngatan is the coziest and has the best selection. The one at Järntorget has a nice terrace summertimes. Good service, and the staff seemed to know pretty much what is served and where to find it. Prices were a little bit higher than at many other pubs, but not disturbingly so. |

October 28, 2007 [ Updated February 28, 2009 ] Ok selection of beer, but not the best in Gothenburg. They don´t serve real ale any more. Probably one of the best selections of single malt whisky in town. Prices are high. Usually very crowded on the weekends. Not my first choice. |

July 30, 2007 The oldest of the three Bishop Arm pubs in Gothenburg. The other two are at Järntorget and Götaplatsen. Quite expensive and gets crowded since it is quite small. |

July 1, 2007 Small and cosy place, albeit a bit kitschy when it comes to decoration. The staff is friendly and helpfull, and with a good beer knowledge as far as I can judge. Food is basic, not bad at all but nothing to come here for. |

June 13, 2007 One of the best places to go in gothenberg. Great selection of hand pulls an taps, also some vintage ales in aswell. Tasted narke kragggen here thanks to rick, petit orval and some triple fff vintage beer. |

June 7, 2007 So apparently all the Bishops Arms have a pretty similar setup. The beer selection looks quite good, but when you have the Rover a few blocks away, the draught selection here fails to seem really complementary, maybe for 1 micro.. The fridges are well filled with a good range of various beers, swedish micros being well represented, but there again, less so than at Haket.. So a worthy stop if you have more than 2 nights in town. Otherwise, you’d be better of relaxing at the other places and encouraging their good and smaller businesses. |

April 6, 2007 Well fitted out and cosy, came after a Bob Dylan concert and the place was absolutly packed. Not a huge range of beers, Ahle imperial gale was the highlight on tap... prices are high, even for Sweden. Pretty hard to comment on the staff as it was so busy, but they knew the beers and served in proper glasses I guess. |
