Really nice place, went there with my wife and kids. Friendly staff, good food, good beer. Good selection of local Swedish brews on tap. When asked, they offered small servings so I could taste a few more...

Visited at lunchtime on Friday 21/03/14 with Ronny, Riita, Per and Andy Snow.
2 level pub with one main room, a small side annexe seating around 8 people where we had lunch, and an upstairs level where I didn’t choose to venture.
The place was very busy even for an early lunch - 1215/20. Table service was very good/prompt and we chose various offerings from a solid tap line up and more extensive bottle list. Largely SWE micros which is primarily what I was after on my weekend in Goteborg.
Food was good vfm as you got to help yourself to the salad buffet, breads and biscuits along with tea/coffee and soft drinks.
I had a fish soup which was great.
Overall a good first port of call on my crawl of Goteborg, centrally located and ticking all the boxes for beer and food.

Visited for the first time on a busy Saturday evening in April 2014.
The selection was nice, a lot of interesting beers on tap also a wide selection of bottles, both Swedish and foreign. The food (cod) was tasty.
Located not far from Nordtan shopping center and the Göteborg Central Station.
Friendly staff and the service was fast despite being busy. A place to vist when visiting Gothenburg.

Not far from the central train station. Busy during the lunch hour, but no problem finding a place to sit for some beer and food. Got a lot less busy as soon as lunch was over. Good tap selection and a nice, if rather unupdated, bottle list. Only negative is that most of the bottle beers ordered weren’t available. Attentive staff and a nice selection.

Need to update this rating again, since I go here fairly often.
Lately have been doing awesome tap takeovers.
Have increased staff both at the bar and for the tables, rarely have to wait long for service these days.
30+ taps that more often than not spot some of Sweden and Scandinavia’s craft brews.
Good to great food, nice tap and bottle selection. Can get fairly crowded, if you plan to eat and don’t want to eat by the bar it is a good idea to reserve a table. Service is great and friendly.
Not the cheapest place you’ll see in Sweden, but it is well worth it for the beer, the food and the service.

Visited in november 2013. Very nice selection on the tap beers, they had a Mikkeller Tap Takeover at the time. Big plus that I could purchase small samples of each beer for a reduced price. There weren’t allot of people there at the time so I got fast and knowledgable service. The full price of the beers where a bit high though.

I’m not a huge fan of the ambience with the place usually packed with a beer loving after work crowd but the staff is absolutely great, the selection is very good and the value is fair. And they offer interesting beer tastings featuring both common beers for common people and rarities for geeks. A must visit.

Along with the Rover, this is one of the top places in Gothenburg. Staff are super cool and there’s always nice beers on tap. A bit off comparing to the other pubs, but it’s not a long walk to get there. Always swing by when in town. Haven’t tried the food yet.
