July 15, 2008 The food was mediocre and the first 4 beers I ordered they were out of which got really annoying. Waitress was nice but knew nothing about what they carried. Not something I would really travel for. |

May 2, 2008 Unfortunately, this is one of the few places to go in Chattanooga for a decent beer. They have a pretty wide selection and the bartenders all seem fairly knowledgeable about the selection. If you’re from the area they usually seem to like you a little bit better (Chattanooga has a HUGE tourism population in the summer) and have often taken my suggestions on new beers to get. The food is always fairly good but just your standard restaurant fair. |

January 9, 2008 This is a typical Taco Mac, with a rather large dining area. They have several TVs for sports watching and a whole lot of beers on the menu (a lot of macros, a lot of micros with some good regional stuff included, and everything is overpriced). The food was decent, and they were out of a couple beers that I tried ordering. OK, but I’d go to Big River if I had the choice. |

December 20, 2007 Used to be cooler when it catered to beer drinkers. Now it seems to be just another chain. What I hate is that every beer you ask for .....we’re out of. Food sucks. Did attend a fun bachelor party there where the groom drank 10 straight shots of tequila. He made it about 20 minutes before puking. |

May 12, 2007 [ Updated July 26, 2007 ] The Taco Mac franchise is way overrated. Yeah..you can get Beer you may not have had before (at a much higher price than what it’s worth)...but the service and food sucks. Try the hot wings though...they’re meaty and above average. |

February 18, 2007 Had dinner here on the way back from glorious Birmingham, AL. It really puts the beer selection in perspective. There’s quite an extensive selection here which covers enough styles to make a beer enthusiast at least satisfied. The food is reasonable and pretty tasty pub grub overall. I had the horseradish chicken wrap which was great. It’s pretty loud in here and filled with college kids watching the game. For what it is, it excels. |

September 5, 2005 [ Updated March 13, 2007 ] Stopped here during HOG National. Stopped here three times. Lunch was good, I had soup and my son had the taco salad. Nice size bar with outdoor seating. Wall of taps with a list of bottle that was diverse and had quality. Servers were very freindly and had good knowledge of beer list. Beer list is worth the stop.
UPDATE 03/13/07 BETTER SERVICE AND SELECTION THIS VISIT |

August 10, 2005 One of the few places open late on a weeknight. I choose a draft beer that was stale. The staff gave me no problems on an exchange. |

June 2, 2004 For an out of towner - a good place centrally located downtown to grab a quick bite and drink a few beers - many non-macros. Menu could be updated a tad though - were out of a lot of things they had listed such as Dogwood Winter, Fischer Bitter. Overall though not a bad place. |

February 8, 2004 [ Updated June 12, 2005 ] Not the greatest food or beer knowledge by the staff. A good selection of beer some of which include high ABV beers, lambics, and Belgians. A can’t miss for people wanting to try pretty much all of whats available in Chattanooga. |
