| lithy (97), Knoxville, Tennessee | | July 21, 2009 Wow, did not expect much, but this is impressive. Some stuff I hadn’t seen around Chattanooga or Knoxville. This will be my default gas stop on 75 from now on. | | nearbeer (98), Knoxville, Tennessee | | September 4, 2008 [ Updated August 16, 2009 ] Agree with decaturstevo, this Citgo station is well worth the 5 minute detour off of I-75 if you’re trying to find a decent bottle in the beer wasteland of East TN. I would guess about 175 different micros and imports under 6% are available here. Prices seemed good for the area. Only negative is no 12 oz. singles or mixing of sixers. Most of the usual suspects in 500 and 650 ml bottles (Rogue, Samuel Smith, etc.) are available as singles though. | | decaturstevo (59), decatur, Tennessee | | April 10, 2006 Very good selection of bottles , Rogue, Samuel Smith, Sweetwater, and many more. No high alcohol beers because it isn’t a liquor store. Close to the best I’ve seen in East Tn. Guys are not real knowledgable about the beers they just know there is a big demand. I think if they had an advisor they could really make this a special place. You owe it to yourself to stop in. I’ve been stopping with my wife to buy cigarettes for years and didn’t know what kind of selection they had. |
