June 30, 2009 Typical organic grocery, with as good of an under six selection as you’ll find in Knoxville. Won’t break sixes though. |

May 24, 2009 Organic grocery store located in a congested shopping area in westen Knoxville. Maybe 30 different six packs, some larger bottles. Recurring TN grocery store beer selection theme - yawn. At least you can buy beer in the grocery store... many micros, Duck Rabbit, Leffe, etc. |

April 2, 2008 Kind of an Organic / Gourmet grocery store that leans more toward the organic side. Beer selection is pretty much everything that you can get in Knoxville under 6%, but I did find a few things that I couldn’t find anywhere else. Not bad if you find yourself in the area, but not worth the trip if you’re just looking for beer. |

August 20, 2007 [ Updated November 22, 2007 ] Upscale grocery store with a nice selection of six packs, probably about 150 different ones. Nice price for TN on most of them too. They only have about 20 that they sell as singles though. I asked about singles on others, or mix-n-match sixes, and the guy told me it messes their inventory up. Said he didn’t know anyone around Knoxville who did that. So I didn’t buy anything, but went about 1/4 mile down the road to World Market, where they sell about 75% of the same selection as singles or mixed six packs. |

August 3, 2007 As good a selection of under 6% beers in the Knoxville area, at good prices. |

March 19, 2007 Decent selection of under 6%’ers, with local & regional selections. The only problems I see is the entire selection is in coolers and you can’t bust up sixers. A bonus is you get some great organic groceries while stopping by for some beer or hit the deli cafe for a little lunch. |

August 11, 2006 One of the better below-6% selections in Knoxville. I always stop there if I’m out west; it’s much more reasonably priced than Leaf and Ale. Pick up some organic groceries while you’re there. Yum. |

June 26, 2006 Most of the under 6% micros and imports available in Knoxville can be found here, and prices are on par with the area. Beer is right next to the cheese section; be careful not to drool. Also the best (and most expensive) whole-bean coffee around. The department stockers/managers are knowledgeable, but the friendly cashiers are clueless. This is the only place I know in the Knox area with Thomas Creek (SC) beers. The bad new is that some of the beers are very slow to turnover, and I’m sure that many are a year old. |

February 4, 2006 This is an organic food store with a good beer selection. This is my preferred destination for 6% beer in Knoxville. They have an adequate selection of microbrews and maybe 10-20 singles which are mostly imports. All of these are available at a reasonable price for the area. I always like to go next door to Turkey Creek Wine & Spirit to get the high alcohol beer, so between the two stores it’s one of the best beer selections in K-town. I’ve done a bit of grocery shopping here before, but being that it is just a grocer I guess I won’t give the food a rating. . . |
