A decent under six selection close to where I live so I go a little more often than Leaf & Ale. They will do a mix six, but be careful, they charge the price of the most expensive bottle. Update Nov 09. Unfortunately, the coolers and shelves where the craft, micro, and import selections had been are pretty much barren. Only macro selections were stocked, so for now, it looks like they might be getting out of the game so to speak. Not a worthwhile stop anymore.

It’s a little convienence store near campus. The selection is about 75% of everything under 6% you can find in Knoxville. In reality, the selectiona nd location are the only reason to go here - the prices are maybe a bit cheaper, but not worth the potential hassle of dealing with the campus.

Any gas station on Oregon will most likely have a better selection of Craft beer than Sam’s does. At one time, (maybe still is) Sam’s had the best prices by a few cents a six, but other than that, the only good point about Sam’s is that you can mix a six. Good luck finding a place to park.

This is a hole-in-the-wall, campus institution of sorts, where UT students go to get "upscale" below 6% bottled beers and kegs. In addition to the typical macro selection, they have 60 plus micros and imports. Above average selection for Knoxville retailers and they have always allowed you to mix sixes and purchase singles. The beer turns over pretty regularly here also. The street guy that followed me in and around the store was farting everywhere, and was nice enough to tell me that he hadn’t heard of no Left Hand beer before, but he knew all about left-handed cigarettes. Always interesting at Sam’s; James Agee would have loved it.
