Bockyhorsey | This place is actually a big red barn filled with beer and 20 years of stuff collected from garage sales, flea markets, etc. which definitely makes for an interesting ambiance. We parked outside and walked in. The owner was extremely helpful and just an extremely interesting dude to talk to. We were looking for local TX stuff and beers we can’t get in AZ. When we left, the wife commented that if we lived in the area, it would be fun just to go there and sit and have a beer with the owner on the chairs outdside the door - I agree.

GlenVargas | Buddy’s might edge out Billy Crews as best beer store in the El Paso area. The guys that work there are always friendly, and they’ll often cut you a break if you’re buying a lot of beer. I don’t actually like the drive through idea (you can basically park right next to the cold cases), so I usually park outside and walk through the gate/door. Anyways, the beers don’t always have prices listed on the bottle, which kind of stinks, but they’re usually not too outrageous. Again, in terms of "best beer store in the El Paso area," Buddy’s selection is definitely bigger, but Billy Crews has a few beers that Buddy’s doesn’t.

Terminus | probably the best beer store around my area (55 mile drive, but worth it). They carry DFH, St Arnolds, Full Sail, Rogue, and many good belgians. The build a 6pk option works well with me. prices are high but thats due to the main distributor that carries the good beers being 650 miles away (Austin, TX-JR goodmans). Its nice to see DFH in the desert!!!
