Original location of the (now) chain of fine beer bars. Lots of beers on tap, even more on bottle. Emphasis on Texas/local beers typically means you’ll have all or most of the offerings of Real Beer (Blanco) and Saint Arnolds Brewery (Houston), and especially those harder to find seasonals like Saint Arnold Stout, which otherwise barely makes it out of Houston.
Has a beer engine in the upstairs rumpus room if they’re not busy enough to have that room open and staffed, good luck on getting anybody to go up there and draw a pint.
I’ve been satisfied with the quality of the beer coming out of the lines. Even with ~70 to look after, they seem to keep them clean and fresh.
Beers uniformly served in American pint glasses. Some bottle offerings will net a semi-appropriate glass if the staff is interested in providing it at that moment.
Generally speaking, there’s table service inside. Decorations include a zillion plates on the walls. Food is mostly sandwich, salad, lighter-fare type stuff. Also various hot pretzels, popcorn, and so forth for snacks. Smoking allowed cigars are at least relegated to the porch. Live music on occasion sometimes this results in a minimal cover charge (~$2). Extensive beer menu somewhat de-convoluted by chalkboard at bar highlighting the newest or seasonal offerings. Also typically a fire-sale beer on tap for the bargain conscious.

Good beer selection, esp for a texas joint. Neat historic building with terraces and porches off the square in fort worth... service wasnt that great but they were fun to look at. Food was surprisingly good.

What a place! Great selection, decent grub and proper glassware. What more could you ask for in Texas. Wait staff is great!

Beerknurd is right... what a cool place to go. If you pay a certain amount of money and get a t-shirt and you drink a certain # of different beers you can get a customized plate on the wall. I had a good waitress when I went. Any bar where you have to sort through a menu to order is great. As for the food they have your garden variety of fried bar snacks. Live music on the weekends.

Fantastic selection. Quite a few St. Arnolds available when I was there. Quaffed in the patio til the weather stormed up. The inside seating was then a bit crowded. Service was never a problem, and appetizers seemed good. Again, fantastic selection.

I like this Saucer compared to Addison for the location. Dowtown FTW is an amazing place. Even my wife feels safe walking around w/ her friends at 2:00 in the morning. Great selection. Love the upstairs patio and the smaller upstairs bar when its open.

Typical Flying Saucer but I do like the location on Sundance Square where pedestrians are welcome. Nice patio in the back that was heated while I was there in the winter on holiday. There was no live music in the afternoon which kept the noise low. Great place to stop for an afternoon bier before going out for dinner.

One of the places that got me interested in craft beer. Awesome selection, and no Heineken. The upstairs outside area is great for hanging out, unless there is a band playing downstairs then it is hard to hear yourself. Lots of good looking waitresses, most very knowledgeable and nice. Except for that one, red curly hair, she is angry at the world. If you want to a good one ask for Lindsey, she had blonde hair and a nose ring and is secretly in love with me.

Similiar to the other saucers. Addison has a better kitchen. Standard suburban tap room. Can get very crowded on the weekends.
