Extremely overpriced for nothing more than a cooler and wire wine racks. They charge almost $3 for a 12 ounce liberty ale single. Some of their beers are not priced in the cooler and you have no idea what your paying since they do not provide a price display on their register. One bottle I picked up in a build your own six pack was $15. The Man behind the register informed me since I could not see the price as he scanned it. They could not even print a receipt on my 3rd and final visit. Small store with a few different things than I have seen elsewhere in the area. Nice girl working the counter not sure if she was beer knowledgeable seeing as I did not have any questions. Not as big or as nice as the one on 15th, and nothing that the other store doesn’t have. Usual collection of stuff for the nicer North Texas beer stores. The young lady behind the counter seemed to be bored with life and customers, although not to unpleasant to deal with. This seems to be the smaller of the 3 Keg’s & Barrels location. It allmost seems to only have 75% of the selection then the other 2 locations have. Good easy to find location just west of 75. Good selection, had just about everything that I know is available in this area. Average prices and they sell singles. Spacious clean store. Their shelf talkers are inaccurate because they are derived from a system with few data points, but maybe they will address that in the future. More space and less clutter (thus easier to shop) than S&K. |
