Central Market - San Antonio

Very similar to CM in Houston and Austin and wherever else....good beer and good food...hard to go wrong.

As a new transplant to San Antonio from Tucson, I have a lot to look for in a beer buying establishment. Central market is an upscale grocery store (take home only), often referred to as the Gucci B, with an adequate selection of beer and wine, if you like that kind of thing, Also, if you mosey over to the food buffet you can fill your belly too.

Wonderful Market with full selection of Belgian Trappist Ales.

Nice selection. Ask for Brian if he’s there as the man is serious about beer. (and nice enough to have hauled two cases of beer from Denver [GABF] to Texas for me).

Pretty good selection. Lots of stuff I don’t see in Michigan. Staff is fairly helpful.

Excellent selection for a grocery store. Plenty of American micros, Belgians and Germans and also some foreign lagers (for your country list....).
