If you wanna sample of what Rev Brew is releasing and/or playing around with, this is where youíd go. First off, these guys are pretty darn good when it comes to brewing beer; add to that a gastropub-style menu and this place is definitely worth stopping by - if you live in Chicago, Iíd say itís at least a once a month stop. On weekends, and when there is a popular release, this place can get crowded quickly but itís well laid out - it just has the feel of a neighborhood bar, but on a grander, polished scale.

We stopped in on Black Friday @ about 8:00 pm. Yeah it was stupid busy. I had a chat with a local while waiting for our beer and she said this place gets busy nearly every night of the week. I didnít get a taster flight simply because it was standing room only. The Eugene porter and Bottoms Up Wit both where very well made.
Iím starting to sound like a broken record with my Chicago places reviews because yet again. ďI would return if Iím ever back in this city.Ē I feel like I left a lot unturned at this establishment. I have no idea how the food is and only sampled two brews. If you are visiting give yourself enough time to check this place out thoroughly.

Insanely packed on a Saturday. 1 hour wait for 3 people to sit. we stood instead. All of my favorite beers on tap, sadly nothing oak aged on tap. staff was nice but itís so packed we kept getting bumped by people walking by spilling beer everywhere. Prices were also good.

This was my first time at Revolution Brewing and came on several recommendations from BA users. The atmosphere was about as good as it was going to get, given the fact that we went from 1230am-2am sunday night (monday). The people that were there obviously were into good beer and it was upbeat. The quality of the 3 beers I tried were very good, they definitely use quality ingredients and test some boundaries of traditional beers. The bartenders were all cool and very open to answering questions or providing samples without questions. The selection here was great, they had about 10 of their beers on tap and another 12 guest taps that some were obscure and rarities. We didnt eat here unfortunately because we had come from dinner elsewhere. The value of the beers were a little steeper than expected, something that would normally be $5 elsewhere was $6 here and maybe in a tulip as opposed to a pint glass. Overall, this is a great addition to Chicago and represents the city well with the micro brew boom. Great place to visit.

Nice open interior with a friendly staff. Quite a few decent offerings on tap and the food menu had some good stuff on it. Location is in a busy area and parking wasnít easy to come by and spendy.

One of two Revolution tap houses in Chicago. Got here early which was lucky as it filled up pretty quickly even midweek. Beers were average with one or two exceptions. Flights were no problem. Staff very helpful and wifi worked fine. Easy to get to on the CTA and well worth combining with a visit to the Map Room.

Stopped in late on a sunday night and this place was packed. Had a couple brews before getting back on the road. Service was good, even with how busy they were. Really wish they would bottle some of their BA stuff though, its just so damn hard to find.

Nice place, but it was packed. Surprising number of good beers - all their own - on tap. Most things were good to very good. Very worth the trip, and a wait in line to get in.

Very crowded place on a Tuesday evening. Nice selection of very good beers. Maybe this place could be paid a visit again. Close to our accommodation...
