Dewey’s Pizza - Oakley

Visited for dinner on a Monday. Parking in a lot behind the building, or on the street in the area. Enter through the back corner of the building, where the smallish bar is located. Plenty of booth and table seating towards the front of the room. I ate at the bar, where the service was phenomenal, knowledge level of the beer and food was impressive. Not an enormous draft list (8 total - 1 beer specially brewed for Deweys by Mt Carmel), but what they had some well chosen. Pizza was great, though the highlight was the seasonal salad. Close to where I stay in Cincinnati, I am sure I will be back.

When you go to a Dewey’s in the Cincinnati area, you pretty much know what you’re going to get. This one is no different. 8 taps, all craft - 1 of them a rotating Mt. Carmel DewBrew offering. The pizza is great. The staff is friendly and attentive. This isn’t a craft beer destination per se, but there aren’t many other pizza places around here (maybe Mellow Mushroom, but that might be it) with a better combination of food and beer.

Went here a lunch on Monday after New year’s so the parking and crowd was not a problem. Nice location with good table seating and some stools at beer bar. Selection was good but limited to eight taps. Six micros and two macros. Menu is pizza parlor with a good selection of salads. I had the small Greek salad and the portion was good and very tasty. Good family location to have a brew.

Deweys Oakley is just outside Hyde Park on Madison Avenue. It is frequently very busy and parking can be difficult. Dewey’s is a very popular and well made pizza in the Cincy area. They have some excellent salads too. Currently on tap now: Brooklyn Lager, Flying Dog Amber, Arcadia IPA, New River Pale, Guinness, Blue Moon and a macro dujour. Good place to have beer and enjoy a pizza.
