(Visited 02/2015 during Cincinnati Beer Week): Dutch’s is located on Erie Ave in East Hyde Park. Street parking is available in front of the building.
There is an outside walk-up carryout bottle shop to the right of the entrance, which is pretty cool. Inside opens to a bar that features a couple standing tables along the windows and a bar that runs nearly the length of the room. Maroon walls with nice lights, and a board at the end of the bar that lists what beers are on tap.
The beer selection consists of 8 draught beers. On my visit there were some specific to CBW like Cincy 3-Way Porter and other breweries like West Sixth and Mt Carmel. The bottled selection is pretty robust and numbers in the 100s.
Service on an early Saturday afternoon during a snowstorm was pretty good. The bartender was attentive and friendly.
I did not have any food on this visit.
Overall I liked this spot, it would be nice to come back during nicer weather and when I wasn’t on a timetable.

On the advice of b3shine I stopped by here for a sour tasting a few years ago. Ever since then it has been a go to destination if I have the time. Between the selection at the outdoor dock, the tap list, and the bottle selection at the bar it merits consideration near the top of the list for Cincinnati. If you don’t want to go across the river to Party Source then you should definitely hit up Dutch’s. Even if you do trek across the river there are several breweries not available on the Kentucky side.
As an added bonus you can get some great food. I have yet to eat here personally but the options behind the deli look mouthwatering. If you can time it to arrive at an offpeak hour then parking should not be an issue either with plenty of spots along a side street.

Made a detour to Dutch’s this past weekend while driving through Cincy. Eight taps of underwhelming options, one solid local. They have a ton of bottles, but you sit and look at rows of empties standing on the sidewalk. No way to tell the bottle dates, awkward. No real bottle list inside the bar. The food was fantastic, service was excellent, prices fair for Ohio, but this is no world class bar/bottle shop.

Update 10-17-13: They’ve added 10 very good tap handles, an outdoor dining area, an indoor dining area, and of course a bar. Food was very good. Now I’d call it a must stop here in Cincinnati.
Kind of an odd store. Pretty much the selection of Keller’s IGA, all displayed in single bottles. Sixer’s etc are all found in their cooler. Not a store to go out of your way for, but if you are close, a store you should certainly shop. Seemed willing to do special orders. brbr Under new ownership as of June 2007. Selection has improved and from conversations I’ve had with the new owner, it will continue to improve. Definitely worth a stop

Nice place in a nice part of Cincy. Great selection of beer and love the carryout on the sidewalk, great idea. Food looked very good even though we didn’t eat there. Priced right too. This says they have over 750 bottles, not sure that is an accurate count ?!?! I certainly didn’t see that many bottles on display. Nice place though!

Great place. Like a lemonade stand for big boys. Incredibly helpful and knowledgeable staff (DrSilverworm). Maybe I’ll visit Ohio again...

Excellent food, big beer list, friendlt service, quirky ambiance, all top-notch. The only downer would be parking availability. This is a place worth searching out.

One of the top beer stores in Cincinnati. Dutch’s stands out with it’s huge selection, it’s outstanding service, and the events. They also have some of the best food around. The way the bottle shop operates - pointing to empty bottles from the sidewalk - while unfamiliar to me, only adds the charm of the establishment while encouraging conversation with the incredibly helpful staff, which includes the fabulous DrSilverworm (Chris). Also great taps!

Stopped in on a Saturday morning. Street parking only. I got a look at the bottle selection, and it is quite extensive, but I was here more for the taps. There are only 8 taps, but they are well thought out and all were very good beers. They were having a bit of a Madtree Tap takeover that day. The service, Drsilverworm himself, as well as the owner and one other lady, were all very helpful and attentive. I felt very welcome here. The bar/restaurant area definitely looks like it’s part of a high end restaurant and the food I saw coming out fit in nicely. Probably should have eaten here. Anyway, the pricing was great, the only way it could be better is if it was free. Definitely a must stop if you’re in the area.
