80 Best selection in Eureka, but as a Dane I don’t want to drink Mikkeller when abroad. Can’t fault the place for that though. Decent selection of locals. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable |
80 Stopped in here later in the night as we spent the night in Eureka on our way south. Good little spot given the town. Great service, outside food allowed in and what was a above average selection even with a 21st Amendment tap takeover happening that night. Clearly the best place in town. |
92 Quiet little local pub, no tv or music, so simply perfect to drink beer. Like minded locals who are very friendly and a great staff that knows a ton about beer. Great selection, and bottles are impressive. A bit pricey but daily specials make it acceptable. I love this place and would highly recommend. |
78 Great little bar in sleepy little Eureka, with some great beers on tap. Stopped here on a Sunday night right before closing, so it was pretty quiet. Server was extremely friendly. Prices were a little on the high side. Definitely a must stop if stopping in Eureka for a night - just a few minutes’ walk from Lost Coast. |
86 Utter stunner of a place. Really cool bar in Eureka. Great vibe, knowledgeable bartender and silly bottle and tap selection. Good local offerings and stuff from outside the area.
Lots of Mikkeller, Jolly Pumpkin, MIdnight Sun, and even some Crooked Stave??? 29 taps for a place with under 20K?? Wow. highly suggest. |
84 A great beer bar. Knowledgeable bartender and a good selection of new beers. |
92 Only 2 reviews! Man ya’ll got to get your asses in here! World class beer bar. Huge bottle selection with all the right names, import and domestic. Draft list also hit all the places. Nice selection of one off locals and big name imports the night we were there. Cask as well which in my option is paramount for a great beer bar. Plenty of seating on the lower level which is busy but approachable. If you want to get out of the crowd there is a nice seating area upstairs with some cool chalk board tables for drunken doodles. Not really much going on beer wise in Eureka so this place was a welcomed surprise. |
90 Good location near old town eureka, low key atmosphere, beer snobs and rich dudes, selection is good in the way that it has rare or hardly distributed beer but you’ll pay the price. Delicious hoppy beers, sours, and seasonals. My favorites are usually beers from out of our area, green flash, mikeller, ballast point, port brewing, knee deep (finally), and more. |
100 Coolest place to drink in Eureka, with by far the best selection. 4Sour beers on tap along with 18 other delicious beers, and things like original Abucus, 2010 Abyss, and beers you cant find anywhere within several hundred miles. |
