This is now called the "Blue Room". Mogollon no longer brews on premises here. 15-20 guest taps. More of a concert venue. Bartender was helpful and offered samples of Mogollon vodka-interesting!

Our last stop of the three brewpubs in Flagstaff. The atmosphere was upscale pubby, although the crowd was a laid back and somewhat hippie assortment. Bartender was super knowledgeable and gave us a free sampler of their new distilled vodka (which was quite excellent). They had six house beers on tap and one or two local guest beers. A good showing on most of their beers, but no real stand outs. After a few more visits to this location, the only drawbacks are: open only after 3PM, no food is served, and the guest taps are harder to come by (except PBR for some odd reason: some regulars must like it?).

Small, somewhat disheveled brew pub in downtown Flagstaff. Gritty place. The three brew pubs in town are within 4-5 blocks of each other. They had 5 of their own beers on tap and a few guest taps (including Delerium Noel) the day I visited. I tried two of their beers and they were pretty good. Nothing spectacular, but solid. Service was good. I didn’t eat here.

They do not have real ales and never have. They do now have food. Not bad either. The wait staff is ussually cute college girls that know little to nothing about beer but they are nice all the same. Atmosphere is perfect for getting drunk. Dim lights, lots of locals and even more wood. Unfortunately the beer is very inconsistent and has become more so since they have started making Vodka. One time I had the IPA and it was a diacetyl bomb with very little malt aroma or hops. This last time I had it though it was spectacular. Lots of hops, lots of malt and very clean. I have heard that they might completely phase out brewing for the distilling. It would be a shame as this is the best place to drink in Flag.

Mogollon Brewing is one of the three-brewpubs/beer bars in Flagstaff. It always strikes me as a little weird because all three are within 4-5 blocks of the other. Mogollon is as close to a biker bar/beer pub I have ever been to. It has the peanut shells on the floor and has a rough and tumble feel about the place. The brewery stuff is sort of out in the open, there is no glass wall separating the brewery from the bar. This is the place that the “locals” hang out. They don’t serve food, and a sampler tray of 7 beers was $5. They have live music nearly every night. The service the afternoon I was there was outstanding. The goth bartender saw me standing around outside waiting for them to open and let me in 20 minutes early. I always seem to feel more and home in the dive bars than in the upscale places and this one is a great dive bar.

The ambiance of the place is as braudog & mjames described. They currently only have one of their beers on tap and two bombers in the cooler as their are concentrating on distilling "spirits" at this time. Our bartender didn’t know too much about the beer that was on tap. They don’t have any food there but you can call and have food delivered to the bar. They are planning on serving food in the near future. The only reason to go back to this place would be to try more of their beers - when, and if, they actually have some!

i think this place has the best and most unique beers in town, but they’re mostly a night-time joint. Kind of a hippy joint, so if you’re not comfortable with that, skip it!

Small and dark, hole in the wall maybe. Furniture is polished logs, bar as well. Lots of locals and beer-types sitting in there... looks like they had a country western dance floor or something. Beer is above average and the servers were very nice and professional. I tend to like the run-down feel of this place.

This place is rather run-down and not the most cosy place to hang out. They only had two of their own beers on tap plus a couple of guest beers and a mead on tap (that I unfortunately didn’t try). Not a place I would go if it wasn’t for trying their beers!
