Visited on 2-18-2013. The tour had ended when I arrived, but I was able to sample their beers which were quite tasty. A couple of their co-workers joined the table while rating their beers which made for quite a bit of fun and interesting conversations. The appearance is a beer hall with picnic style wooden tables. It reminded me of beer halls in Germany. The employees were very friendly and even provided some swag to add to my collection. This establishment is worth visiting and an establishment I would visit again if in the area.

A pretty good tasting room though a marginal tour. This brewery used to lead the texas craft scene and still can kill it on occasion and should show it. Huge beer hall and fresh taps. Free ice tea and their major league root beer.

Visited on a weekday, so it was a smaller crowd. Tour was conducted by Brock Wagner himself. Nice facility with a great view from the taproom. Eight bucks for the tour, a glass and four beer tokens. Great value. Great beer.

Old factory turned brewery. Apart from the brewing facilities which you can tour, anyone can access the magnificent Beer Hall. You purchase tokens which you then change for one of Saint Arnold’s great beers. Some users are reporting no food available, but I enojyed a fine bratwurst, perfect with their brews. A great place to go when in Houston.

(Visited 10/2013): Saint Arnold’s brewing facility is in a large brick building near downtown Houston on Lyons Avenue. There is street parking in front of the building and a lot across the street.
The exterior is pretty, with the brewery name on all sites and above the entrance. There was an old car painted tie-dye with the logo out front on my visit too.
Once inside, you have to go upstairs a couple levels to reach the tasting room. It is set up like a large beer hall with long communal tables. There is a walk up bar on either end. The brewery is visible from the room, and the decor incorporates a lot of Saint Arnold/church themes. There is a large board next to the bar listing the available beers.
Beers are purchased via a token system when a tour is taken, or can be purchased like at a typical tap room. On my visit the 8 or 9 taps included a few of their flagship beers plus some one-offs and seasonals like a Weizenbock, Fresh Hop, Saison and a Bishop’s Barrel series augmented with Brett. They also have a few bottles, including more of the Bishop’s Barrel series. The bottles must be consumed on premise though.
Service on my visit both at the bar and during the tour was good. The staff clearly cares about what they are doing. The tour includes a souvenir glass as well.
Saint Arnold does not offer food.
Overall this is definitely a worthwhile visit for beer lovers in the Houston area.

A fun place to visit on a Saturday. Place was packed with picknicking folks, seated on long Oktoberfest tables. 8 to 10 taps of goodness. The best deal: 8$ for a tour, a glass and 4 tokens.

Pretty cool brewery, bought a set of tokens and had some beers before the tour. looked like regulars bring in big mugs for fills at the same price.

A very fun place to visit on Saturdays. A large open area with big bar at the end. You get four drink tickets and can bring your own food for a picnic type set up. Gets very full so if you don’t want to sit on the floor, get there early. A great place to get together with friends.
