I have only been here a couple times but it’s within a few minutes from where I live so it’s convenient. A really nice place inside. Service seemed solid. Had a nice waitress that was quick. The beer isn’t my favorite but a decent amount to choose from. And from what I hear they switch it up pretty often. Food here would be my main point. Fish and chips have been great both times. A decent local option.

Sizable joint. Nice, laid back atmosphere, more restaurant-y, really. Decent service. Really nice food - I always get the chicken taco salad & it never disappoints. Beer selection is usually around 8-10 taps or so. There are some good beers, but lots of duds, too. They always have a cask ale, though, which is cool. They tap a new one every week. Reasonable prices. A nice stop if you’re in the area.

I’ve been coming here since I was legal. Definitely one of my favorite haunts, and one of two microbreweries for the entire downriver area (something I hope picks up soon!). You’ll be hard pressed to find a brewery who turns out so much different beer. Doug, the brewer, churns out great mainstays throughout the year, but the real treasure is in the small batches he does every Thursday--you’ll get beers you’ll dream about, but they’ll be out by Friday. Good service--lots of familiar faces over the years. Food is always dead-on good bar food (I’ve never known someone who DIDN’T like the fries or chicken & waffles here). Unique twists with venison chili, etc. They seem to have trouble keeping chefs, which is too bad--when they have chefs, they let them experiment and run really awesome specials (ranging from great prime rib to the spiciest turkey burger I’ve ever eaten).

Big open space with visable brewing equipment. Nice long bar, several TVs, including bar trivia, which is a plus for me. I had the sampler but they only had five of their beers tapped, Bar food, reasonable prices, and tastey beer. And it’s a quick on/off from I75. I would hang out here if I lived closer.

Great prices on some pretty good food and one of the best IPA’s around!! Brewmaster knows his stuff. Clean and well maintained. Family frendly.

A nice place in the downriver area. Has a bit of a sports bar feel to it with hit or miss beer. A decent number of taps that seem to rotate pretty quickly. Food is solid and prices are quite low. Service is fine but nothing special.

Really love the food here but sometimes the beer is just ok. I’ve had some greats beers here like the Rye PA and the Black IPA but I’ve also had some that I hate. Definitely worth checking out, especially if you live nearby.

Somehow I have forgotten to rate this place, but better late than never... This place looks like a sports bar first and foremost. It is a bar, since they also serve liquor. What makes it different is the fact that it serves their own beers and good ones at that. Their brewer pushes the envelope with new styles and dives into a lot of things I would have never even thought of. They also open a cask every Thursday night. Very cool place overall. The growler thing is not really an issue, just buy one of theirs sheesh.

been in this place a few times and not really a bad time. just seems limited on beers when i am there. daughter and i had a sandwich and i had a couple beers. not very busy but only a bartender and a server...made for a slow go. the beers were decent even though there was a miscommunication on it..not a problem. biggest issue and i address when i go in there..if you want a growler you have to use theirs no ifs ands or buts claims its a state law...with over 70 microbreweries in the state and this is the only one that "demands" you use their growler..something wrong there.
