2012-03-XX. The beer itself is actually a bit disappointing. It was okay, but a bit bland for my tastes. The schwarzbier was my favorite of the bunch today. I had the Oyster Club sandwich which was quite good. I asked for my sauerkraut on the side since I am not always a fan of sauerkraut, but that was a mistake because it was delicious and I spent half my meal putting it back into the sandwich! Service was decent but unexceptional. We were there for brunch/early lunch and got a good sized group seated after a short wait. I think we just beat the rush. Location is great in the FQ/near the waterfront. Its worth a stop if you are in the neighbourhood but not worth going out of the way for, at least not just for the beer, imho.

Tranditional New Orleans styled place with great live jazz playing up front near the bar. Service was pretty good and stopped by often to make sure we had what we needed. Six house beers were on tap, but none were really that good. Food was good, but for the price, there are better options nearby. Okay place and probably just worth one trip for the new ratings.

Quite touristic place as itís close to Jackson Sq but nevertheless the brews and seafood ťtouffťe were excellent. A bit pricey though. I was really surprised how good the beers were.

This is a New Orleans brew pub located across from the now defunct Jax Brewery in the French Quarter. All the look and feel of the Big Easy are alive in the brew pub, including the walk-up beverage window along the sidewalk. The service was friendly and quite helpful, including cornering the oyster shucker as he arrived to get us the first shucked dozen of the day. The house beers are in a German style, and the food is New Orleans-esque.

This is the only brewpub in New Orleans (I guess the 2nd, if you count Gordon Biersch) and it is located in the French Quarter. For these reasons alone it is worth stopping by, but that is about it. They serve predominantly German styles. The 2 I tried (the spring bock and dunkel) were ok, nothing special. I didnít try any of the food, but it is your typical NOLA offerings. This place is mostly for tourists, but they do have live music starting around 7pm, so thatís another reason to stop by.

Very nice place, well located, close to everything in the French quarter. Beautiful terrasse, beer is good, although selection is limited. Personnel was very helpful, although, they did not seem to know their beers half as much as they knew the menu. Food was absolutely fantastic. Prices were quite high, though. All in all, a pretty good place, but especially fit for dinner.

Not a bad place. Decent seafood gumbo, and some serviceable lagers. You could certainly do better, but could also easily do much worse. Worth a stop for a beer if youíre walking down Decatur.

Comes off a bit like your typical brewpub-restaurant experience with a slight French Quarter twist. Four beers on tap, growler fills available. Pilsner is respectable and worth a try if youíre a fan of lagers. Food looked fairly mundane considering what else is around the FQ.

Nice, hip, well-lit place with live jazz going on downstairs. Our service was prompt and friendly but nobody really knew anything about beer. The selection is pretty average. Their beers and a couple others. I didnít try any food. Overpriced beers, but I guess itís New Orleans. Overall... we only stopped in because we walked by and the beers werenít that great and were overpriced. Iíd say scroll past it unless you just happen to be there.
