72 Ambiance: Definitely a tourist trap type place, but we went in right at noon and it wasn't too crowded or loud.
Service: Average.
Selection: It's not anywhere near the 90+ taps they claim on the signage (I counted about 50 on the menu) but it's still big. Plenty of stuff I hadn't had before. Whalebois will be disappointed, but a selection ranging from Allagash to Jack's Abby to Sweetwater to Dogfish isn't anything to scoff at.
Food: Typical bar fare.
Value: Not actually terrible for the location.
Overall: Yes, a tourist trap, but if you're in need of a beer or five on a NYC trip and you go during off peak hours, it's just fine. |
80 Loud and crowded place but with an awesome selection of beers. |
76 Located right in Hell's Kitchen, off of Times Square, this is a loud, beer hall, designed for tourists. Expansive tap selection and food is fine. |
60 Large bar in two floors. Went to the bar on the second floor. Crowded and loud. Lots of taps. While most weren't that exciting the sheer number means that there were some nice ones among the others. |

72 Var faktisk herinde med konen og børn inden Rattle and Hum, slet ikke samme oplevelse. Det bedste var helt klart at sidde udenfor på tagterassen og få en bid brød, men på trods af 50 haner var der ikke meget interessant på. |
68 Large place spreading over two floors. Seems that downstairs was full so I was sent on the first floor. Very crowded and pretty loud. One of those places with lots of taps, but nothing interesting. Lots of macros and usual suspects with occasional interesting beer. I went for Allagash Curieux which was fine. Frankly you can give this one a pass, no need to spend time here with so many great places all over city. |
80 Came here on 26.11.2017. Located between Times Square and Penn Station. Typical Pub atmosphere, with several TV's for sport events. Bars on 2 floors with a nice restaurant area providing a good view to 8th Avenue. +50 beers on tap, good selection of different beer styles. Had a Green Flash GFB, a DuClaw Fast Disaster and a 60 min from Dogfish. Good beer quality and typical pub food was also excellent. |
70 Stopped in for a particular tick prior to movie never had any real desire to come here or to this part of town in general. Big open space pretty cool although decorated a little corporate or big regional craft beer style. Selection has a lot but all the standard heavy hitters but a few things I wanted. Commuter vibe and clientele aka not all that hip. Your better off at Rattle n Hum West a block away if your a serious beer person. |
68 Surprised I’ve never rated this place before now. Obviously it is really close to Port Authority, and gets a standard after work bar crowd. Solid draft list, not as interesting as other places near by (like their sister bar Rattle n Hum-West), but pretty good. Decent prices for the location, or terrible prices, depending on your perspective. Food is tolerable bar food, no more, no less. Older looking bar on the entrance level, with 99% of the place being up the stairs. You are probably not getting anything destination worthy here, but it you are looking for a quick pint near the bus station it’s good for that. |
