Double date lunch with the Wife and friends. A roomy upper floor bar room that is reminiscent of a European beer hall meshed with industrial America. Large long tables. There is no table service. You must place your order at the far bar, below the huge projection TV. Once there the staff is quite knowledgeable. and friendly. Impressive selection of their own beers and a few local guest taps. Two cornhole bean bag lanes. As Sloth would say... a clean pissery complete with stainless troughs for the gents. A funky growler filler machine Iíd never seen before. A busload of folks appeared as we were leaving and filled two tables up. This place is a bit chilly as it is in an old brick warehouse with little on the insulation side. Bring a hat in winter.

Stopped in after doing a little hiking in catskills. So yea this place is awesome. Decor is amazing with great views of Hudson, tons of space, and games. Lots of beers on tap that are very good and food was decent. If youíre in this neighborhood no reason not to stop by itís a great time for sure.

What a place! The bar/restaurant is on the top floor of a brick, former industrial-ish building. Great views of the Hudson. No bar stools, just many tables with benches. Lots of board games. Crowd nicely mixed between young and old. Beer: Real range of styles, from a smoked gose (undersmoked), to a booming DIPA. Smart, helpful barkeeps. Looking forward to returning.

Great place. The beer is very good. The newburgh conspiracy is an awesome stout. One request, a little music wouldnít hurt.

Awesome place. Love the open rustic feeling of the old existing warehouse. Decent selection of beers on tap and all were great. No flights available, but bartenders had no problem letting you sample whatever you want. Did not order food, but by the looks of the menu the food sounds great. Environment is super chill. Lots of big picnic tables to sit at, ledges around the entire perimeter of the building to stand and enjoy a pint, and lots of cool games to play (from board games, to cornhole). I will def revisit again, especially since itís only a 9 min drive from my sisters house.

Only dropped by since this place was along our route home and ended up being very happy I did. Large warehouse taproom that is filled with large benches for community-style seating, a large bar with taps on one end, and filled with games such as air hockey, cornhole, and billiards that are all free-to-play. Not to mention the large windows down the long side of the room offering great views of the river and area outside. Service was great but be warned they donít really offer flights nor know how to charge for them if thatís all you want to do, but they do offer free samples to let you try before you buy. Had 11 beers on tap and they were fantastic! Great diversity of styles. Brewer was very friendly and passionate about his beers. Prices were fair and they had very good growler fill prices along with a frequent-buyer program. Had an interesting food menu with light-fare options, but we didnít try any on this visit. Great place and one I will stop at everytime Iím passign through.

Stopped here last Sunday afternoon. Fantastic place...great vibe...amazing building (exactly what Iíd want if I ever opened my own place)...fantastic view over the river from high up on the hill! I lived in Orange County for almost 20 years and have watched the riverfront in Newburgh start and stop with the efforts to revitalize the area. I will tell you that in one step the Newburgh Brewing Company has added more to this area than any other single place in recent memory. This is a destination craftbeer bar...and when the word gets out people will come to Newburgh for this place first...and that will hopefully benefit the area as a whole. I canít say enough about the renovation of this building and the space theyíve created...itís incredible! Now for the beers...youíre going to enjoy coming here and drinking these beers. I especailly loved the Hop Drop Double IPA...the Paperbox Pale & 2013 Harvest Ales were notable too. The most original though is the Chile Lime Stout. This is actually a spicy beer wth a noticable hot pepper kick...kind of like the old Cave Creek beer...but with one huge exception...Cave Creek is a terrible tasting beer...this stout is fantastic. I highly recommend this with any of the strong flavored meat dishes on the menu. I tried all of their 12-14 beers. Since they donít offer flights need to choose wisely and order the 10 oz beers for those youíre pretty sure youíll like...and then hope they will be as generous as they were to me...allowing me to taste small samples of the others. This is a destination craftbeer place...make it a stop on one of your beer tours or day trips for sure.

This place is awesome! The quality of the beer, the ambience of the Taproom, and general feel makes this one of my favorite places to have a drink. Paul and Chris have done an outstanding job of keeping the Newburgh Brewerylocal.

Theyíve been brewing for about three months or more now, and the bar area has been open for about a month and a half and I think Iíve been here a good 5 times already, so Iím definitely behind in adding this as a place and getting around to giving it a proper review. The brewery inhabits an old factory space near the waterfront in Newburgh. Most recently it was a cardboard box factory I think. A lot of the industrial feel has been maintained and the space keeps a nice minimalist feel to it. The space itself is absolutely gorgeous. Large high ceilings and immense oversized picnic tables (that they made themselves with a large amount of reclaimed materials) that easily sit 8 or more give a beer hall feel to the place. There are 14 of these big tables with benches as well as another taller one for standing around. Given the size of everything, even when thereís a crowd it never feels crowded, as the tables themselves comfortably seat 110+ people. An area in the back has been set aside to play corn-hole. Views overlook the Hudson river and there is bar railing at the right level to hang out at the huge windows and take in the view. Food here is very solid, it helps that Chris who is the head brewer was a culinary school grad before going to brew at Brooklyn and then come back to Newburgh to open his brewery. He designed the menu and the food has an elegant rustic feel to it, definitely good stuff to pair with the session beers that make up the tap list. Prices are nice with the general price being $5 a pint, and the occasional $4 special on a specific beer for the whole weekend. Very glad Chris and company have opened up nearby. Been here a number of times already and I know Iíll be back many, many more.
