very prejudiced owner, Bruce and workers are the biggest schmucks who think they are in some profession as beer jockeys. They are also very lazy, the store is dirty and service is slow for bottle returns. bees and wasps are outside and they want you to sort out everything yourself and do their job for them. they are lazy shiftless dirt bags, and the most arrogant jerks and uneducated bafoons who judge their customers. They even turned away an African American couple with bags full of empty bottles to return and they told them to go to Coram a predominantly African American area. It was the worst experience at a beer house with my children i have ever had.

Excellent selection of local brews, mostly from east coast. The owner is very knowledgeable and always willing to discuss the current stock. Twice I have requested new orders not in stock, and they were more than willing to bring in new beers. They have 4+ taps and decent pricing. My number one choice for the area.

Lived in eastern Long Island my whole life and I finally found my beer store. Ambiance is typical for a beer store. The best thing is that they have a the biggest selection of craft beer in the area. They have 6 taps for growler fills mainly featuring local breweries. The service is excellent! The owner/manager is extremely friendly and is always willing to spend some time with customers and offer suggestions. The store prides itself of the craft beer. The only negative is that due to is proximity to the train station you might get a few interesting people hanging outside the store. My new beer store, hands down!

My regional store of preference. Decent selection of American crafts, esp. New York. Southern tier, Saranac, Blue point, Southampton, Bear Republic, etc. Ok on the foreign side, Belgian and British mostly, but obviously not the focus. The service is ok. Other people seem to think the owner is good, but I’ve only seen him there once. Prices seem generally competitive. update 4/27 - might as well update my rating for this place. I’ve met the owner and employees quite a few times since my initial rate. People are friendly in general (though one time, they gave me a hard time about being a dollar under the threshold of a $20 coupon - for which I got a whopping $2 off. I’ve spent a lot of money in this place, so I resented that a little). The more recently development is the addition of tap lines with good looking local, LI/NY brews, and reasonably priced growlers. This is a major improvement, I think. All in all, this is a good place to get beer. I think that most people will find something new to get most of the time.

I like this place. It is a solid store. I always find something new to try, if not the particular thing I am looking for. The owner Bruce is a good guy and loves to talk. He will walk the store with you and make good suggestions. He knows his beer, but I cannot say the same for the rest of the staff. The staff is friendly and helpful though. I always feel welcome there. The selection is hit or miss. You can find some real tough to find stuff, and at the same time you wont find stuff you expect to be there. The place is decently organized and clean, but occasionally there are some strange folks hanging around. Not strange enough to keep me from stopping there when I am in the area. the prices are in line with everyone else, some less, some more, nothing too high though. Overall, a good place to go, but not to travel a great distance for.

Not a great beer store, but pretty good for a local one. Pretty good American section (Stone, Bear Republic, Troegs, Victory, some Southampton, some Lagunitas, DFH, Allagash). The Belgian imports are decent but the other foreign imports less so. Some beers are definitely a bit old and past their best buy date...but in general you can find something to pick up. Recommended if you’re near the area.

Where I buy most of my beer. The owner is really friendly and likes to talk beer. He can recommend something whatever your taste. Willing to go the extra mile to help his customers.

Not the greatest beer store, but with 360 different beers in a town of 7500 people, it’s very good. Lots of local stuff and a nice rotating cast of seasonals. Growlers from Blue Point are available. Belgian selection is pretty solid . The owner is quite friendly and likes talking beer, some of the employees don’t know the stock that well, but they’re very friendly as well. Considering it’s about 500 feet from my house, it my beer store of choice.
