70 Came in looking for Nevada beer singles and found about 10. They had many more in 4 or 6 packs. A bit disappointing. Across the street was a new place, Local Beer Works, with 30 Taps, many of which were Nevada beers on tap, plus a nice selection of Nevada beers available to take out as singles. Combined, they killed it! |
52 I got a strange vibe here. Beer selection is entirely within a large walk-in cooler. OK Sounds like a good idea. Poor lighting inside though. Beer selection OK but not stellar. Everything seemed overpriced, beer and especially the spirits. Service was horrible. Cashier was talking on phone while attending to other customers while trying to cash me out. I will not be back. |
68 Visited with Sledutah and Slowrunner77, thanks gentlemen. Modern decor, basically a large wine store with a bar on one side and picnic tables inside and out. Four taps of beer, four more or wine. But the highlight is a walk in cooler with a decent though not large selection of bottles. One small shelf of local stuff. A larger shelf of cider, one of mead and one of sake, so the variety is good although there’s not much depth. The one server we asked about English ciders did not know his stuff (although it would be a lot to expect them to know about that little niche - still, he was way, way off). No food. A fun place to hang out and share bottles with friends. |
88 Excellent selection. Warehouse atmosphere. Walk into the cooler in the back and pull the brew you want off the shelf. Sit at bar or at a picnic table with friends. Special events highlight seasonal or rare brews. Very friendly, knowledgeable staff. |
88 surprised to see Craft in the 70 range. lots of people favorite beer/wine bar and hangout in Reno. the staff is the friendliest around and probably the most knowledgeable. great vibe, great beers. usually only 4 taps, but always something good. the bottle selection is great and there’s little markup. |
66 Open floor plan with a bar and with a few taps. The beer is located in the walk in cooler towards the back. The prices were on the high side, but a good selection. You can either drink it there or to go. |
72 Definitely a place for any craft beer enthusiast to check out if spending some time in Reno. As others said, the setup is unusual, with a walk in fridge where you select your bottle. Then you bring it to the register and they pour it for you. Bottle selection seemed rather import heavy to me. I like the atmosphere of the place. Would be a good place to gather with friends for a drink (sadly I was traveling alone). |
58 This is a bit of a strange place. It’s very spacious as you walk in with a bunch of wine and liquor bottles to your right. There’s a walk-in cooler towards the back, with a pretty good selection of mostly singles. There were a handful of interesting things here, and I imagine a pretty good selection for Reno’s standards. Prices seemed fair. No one acknowledged me when I went in. |
96 It is a really cool place. It has a lot of different beers and not all the same ones that you see everywhere. They only have 3 beers on tap, but they are more then happy to pore you a beer from there large walkin fridge. |
