72 AMBIANCE 5/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 9/15 FOOD 5/10 VALUE 7/10 OVERALL 14/20
The place is the best ’hipster’ meets ’neighborhood’ ’dive bar’ with a soccer tilt that I’ve ever been too. That said I can’t stress how dirty, dingy and divey it is, but it works.
My selection score is more in regards to selection of canned beers, which is what they specialize in (without probably purposely doing so). The value is definitely there on the hispter ironic beers.

Dive bar. Sports bar. Cupcakes. Three New Belgium beers on tap, including a sour one I hadn’t had before. Tons of local stuff. Ultra friendly staff, colorful locals. If I lived in the area, this would be my local.

62 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 7/10 SELECTION 7/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 6/10 OVERALL 14/20
This was an interesting place to say the least. Small as heck, divey as all getout, this is tucked away on H street, so much so that you could almost miss it entirely passing by. They had some local brews on tap (DC Brau, Chocolate City), and some others - "hipster ironic" brews were flowing by strangely dressed crowd.
"No politics" sign is likely meant to be ironic as the place is essentially politicized more than the average congressional intern that takes a trip to "Hawk and Dove."
Glass was reused entire time I was there, not sure how to feel about that one. Certainly a place to check out if you like obscure, unique dives, as well as the occasional special beer on tap.
