This is a great place to try different beers, though I don’t care for the location as it gets congested pretty quickly. I will say though it is convenient and they have some unique pours throughout the year.

Brass Tap has alright service, is small and usually pretty crowded. Their selection is ok, I do like that they offer cigars. Again, it’s close by otherwise I would probably go somewhere else.

Big tap list and lots of bottles to choose from. Dark inside with a small patio. Service was good.

Great beer selection but pricey.

You want beer? They got it. As Tampa is NOT a culinary destination it certainly IS a spot to visit some great beer meccas and The Brass Tap is one of them. In an outdoor mall like setting with plenty of inside seating and an outdoor patio for the smokers or others who like to sweat in 100% humidity while downing a Weiss. Service is businesslike and perfunctory but not a negative. Food is provided by the next door restaurant neighbors with Grillsmith being the only one I think is worthy of an order. Beer selection is right near the top of the list and if you cannot find one you like here then you need to find another drink. TV’s for sports and trivia network is also available for imbibers to enjoy.

In the wiregrass shopping mall at the corner of Bruce B Downs and SR56. Trendy atmosphere that tends to get crowded during the weekends. You can order food from local eateries. Also, it has a pretty decent selection of cigars that you can enjoy on the patio. Nice place.

Where to start! The location is very interesting as its in a food and store district made to look like a rustic downtown. Although they don’t have food they allow stuff to be brought in. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable of the awesome selection of beer. The atmosphere is relaxing. There is plenty of indoor and patio seating. They are also beer rating friendly since two Tampa Tastings were held there while I was in town. They also have a special CCB on tap every last wed of the month. Well worth the time so get out to Wesley Chapel during your visit to Tampa.

Unbelievable selection of beer that is constantly being updated and served by a usually knowledgeable staff. Great atmosphere too, but it does get crowded on weekends. A handful of flat screen TV’s usually showing games & trivia. Live music is often featured on the small stage. No food, but you can order from any of the nearby restaurants that deliver.

The setting is a little dissonant, as it’s located in one of the new malls that are designed to establish a sense of community by replicating a downtown or antique district--very Disneyesque as far as urban design goes. The bar itself is rather enjoyable, though, with a pleasing variety of offerings and good service. Some in house food offerings would be nice, but there are a variety of dining options around Wiregrass if you’re interested in a more compartmental experience. It’s definitely worth a stop if you’re in the area.
