August 3, 2008 I was extremely disappointed with the staff and most offended by the lack of selections on the draft menu. I got the impression I was a bothersome annoyance to the wait staff and the beer tenders. I will say the food had a good quality and taste.
Oh and my card got skimmed while visiting Red Rock. so all in all my experience was not good. |

July 10, 2008 As far as SLC beer goes right now, I like Red Rock’s the best. Some of them are spectacular, in particular the Munich Dunkel. The Special Bitter I had a while back was spot on. The Zwickel is awesome as well. One or two of the offerings change pretty often. The food is okay, a little eclectic and mildly interesting, though it’s nothing great. Sometimes I find myself not really wanting anything that’s on the menu. |

November 24, 2007 Very upbeat and lively place with a good menu and the food was quite good. The beers are only okay as they ABV is low and they all taste like soda pop.The service is great tho’ |

October 21, 2007 [ Updated August 5, 2008 ] A nice, but busy place to have a drink. Close to the Gateway downtown. A warm ambiance and a nice big bar. The beer is decent....of course we all know about the stupid Utah liquor law, but still they do well. Try the Triple if they have it. |

August 1, 2007 [ Updated September 2, 2007 ] Several times here and the food never disappoints. Sometimes crowded at dinner, especially during Jazz games and other events downtown. House beer is one of the best of Utah’s mandated low alcohol (<4%) brews, along with nearby Squatter’s (where the beer might be slightly better, but the food is not quite as good). |

June 15, 2007 [ Updated September 17, 2007 ] The other brewpub that is close to the convention centre. Large corporate feeling place. Sit at the bar if you’re here and watch the cooks work the wood-burning oven. The food here was very good. Some very tasty pizza in addition to some slightly upscale pub fare. Lots of selection and some of the beer here was also very well made. I expected so much less of Salt Lake City and it really surprised me. |

July 31, 2005 Repeat visitor, most recently in June 2003: Nice restaurant feel right downtown. Awesome brickoven pizzas and other delights for the tummy. The beers are pretty good, but second fiddle to Squatters which is like a block away, conveniently. Eat here, then go drink at Squatters. |

October 17, 2004 Regular brewpub look and layout. Brick over in the middle of the bar... some interesting brews though... abbey dubbel, witbier and others... the recipes were pretty good, but no way were they under 4% :) A decent place to visit, about 1 block from Squatters, so hit them both. |
