Great selection of Belgium and VT beers. I guess have to wait on the McNeil’s. Now that Vt has raised the alcohol % to 16%, can’t wait for the better belgian beers, also the higher % stouts.

Happened upon this place while driving up to Burlington - stopped in town because I had to pee, and saw a beer store, so I went on in - as of July 2007, the McNeills selection was pretty much non-existant - they had a huge shelf of Rock Art bombers for 2.99 a piece, but you can get these anywhere - the place seemed more like a place for rednecks to buy lottery tickets and pints of whiskey - don’t waste your time, even if you ARE in Manchester.

Yes, this place does carry McNeills...but that’s about it as far as beers of interest, at least in August 2005. Typical small NE liquor store ambiance, beer is lonesome against the back of the store, most refrigerated which is nice...but nothing of real interest to the beerhunter besides those half-dozen or so McNeills, which were NOT refrigerated and sitting on the top shelf under harsh lights. No service worth speaking about, redneck character to the place despite the wealthy tourist town location.

first- a picture of the place is here: http://www.state.vt.us/dlc/images/outlets/a2071.jpg i cant upload it. this place is great. they have a TON of mcneills beer0 ruby ale, slop bucket, imp stout, etc etc. staff wasnt very friendly to me which was unusual for this area of the country where everyone seemed to be as nice as possible. the selection was unbeatable and this was the best store i hit in vermont. a must stop if you are in this area.
