Charmless smallish place in the most touristic area of Hanoi. Their one beer id described as a Belgian style beer, but is merely a dark lager of dubious quality. Go to Big Man instead a few meters away.

Visited this place in 2005 on the first day of a 3 month long travel. Had a great experience with the locals, who gave our kids some snacks, while tasting thier two beers. (But on the day they only had one!). Not a place to hang out for hours, but good for a different beer compared with the watery fluid you can get just around the corner:

A rather big place for a bar in Hanoi, it even has the brewery inside the bar. Not much other customers. They play popmusic (Ricky Martin...) Only one beer but it is pretty good - a bit sweet and not too simpel. There is a aquarium at the toilet !! I didn’t try the food.

One beer available, their Belgian style dark beer, that was all right but nothing more. Rough interior, central location. Nothing to write home about, but if you need a dark beer and are in the area worth a short visit!
